Seat ibiza 1.9 TDI 6k 2000

Advantages: good economy ( diesel eng.), cheap spare parts,
Disadvantages: noisy engines, small space ( rear, boot )

...* - mounted in SEAT Ibiza till '02 Engine Engine is quite old construction, noisy and heavy but very durable and economical. Starts good in winter even below -10 C. All models from 99' - 02' have a rotary pump and are more resistant to low class or dirty fuel, 02' - pump injectors, less resistant. I never had to add extra oil between servicing and no leaks are visible. Engine springs are worn a bit and some vibrations can be felt especially when ...
...are very promising: basic chip tunning - up to 20 - 30 hp. Extreme tunning in my friend's car:) over 100 hp. Main pro is moderate fuel usage after tuning and still long life of exerted engine. Weaker elements are turbo accessories like flowmeters that can be damaged easily by dirty air so don't forget to change air filter like i did :( No problems with exhaust. ( 4/5 ) Electric inst. I haven’t noticed any bigger problems, but less important ...

...a proud owner of a Seat Ibiza 1.2 (reference basico) sincer 2005 ,july. I would like to say that i am Romanian ,and living in Romania so the car might not be the same delivered in the UK ,but i assume in UK they sell even better ones. Now ,before i start i would like to explain the title. I have driven 10 cars in my life. Most of them over 1000 miles ,ad i did that in the last 5 years ,so comparisons are accurate. The cheapest car i driven eas Daewoo ...
...was by a longshot my SEAT ibiza 1.2 petrol ,made in 2005 ,with no ABS ,EBD ,only 65 hp. Why not the Volvo? The Volvo was a 1.6 litre petrol ,and it eas too slow. No so eager to accelerate as the Ibiza until 30-40 mph ,not as confident in passing over front cars (a maneuver standard in Romania with only 180 miles of motorway) ,and really bad in fuel economy. Consumed 2 times more than the Seat ,and except the luxury....the car was mediocre. Why ...

Seat Ibiza 1.4 Cool/S

Advantages: Looks Good, Quite Quick, Interior Screen
Disadvantages: Seat Dealerships and Garages

...it everywhere. It's a 2000 Seat Ibiza and they are rare as it was onlyin production 2 years. So I'll start with the positives, it looks fantastic I've had silver multispoke alloys and the car is silver (best colour) so it looks really good. The interior plastic is not great compared to my dads Alfa Romeo but then not many cars are that good inside. The interior features a screen which glows red (as all the buttons do at night) the screen tells you ...
...needed replacing, the mechanic at Seat forgot a bottom bolt so it dropped on the gearbox so that needed replacing (no, they refused to pay saying the bolt was put in properly...it's also had a full new exhaust and some minor repairs. All in all it's been a good car and I would recommend it just don't use the seat dealerships a sin my experience they are ill informed dealers. ...

Seat Leon S 1.6

Advantages: compact family hatchback
Disadvantages: underpowered

I bought a Seat Leon S 1.6 standard model three years ago from new from the dealer. The Seat so far has provided reliable however we do only drive it 8000 miles a year so are well below average mileage of about 10000. It is economical both to run and to insure. However we have found the 1.6 very sluggish. I would say that it is underpowered and would recommend going for a higher powered engine for this model of car. The car does struggle when trying ...
...also have a standard car seat and I found that the seat belts in the back of the car were not long enough to fit the car seat so the baby always has to travel in the back. Also now that we have a baby we have had to buy a roof box as the boot space isn't enough for a family with a small baby. I would recommend buying a larger car if you have a young family or a roof box. The car also has a spoiler which means that to fit a cycle rack you need to ...

Stunning performance without the usual compromises

Advantages: Gorgeous looks, exceptional acceleration and handling, yet practical
Disadvantages: How long have you got to wait for yours?

...to arrive I’ve decided my Seat Leon 2.0TDI FR was well worth waiting for. I’ve been driving it for just over a month and am still thoroughly enjoying it, in fact as I’m getting more confident and the engine is loosening up the drive is getting better (and the fuel economy is improving). With its coupe-like styling, including hidden rear door handles (similar to the old Alfa 156), the car looks great. I went for the chrono yellow; it is absolutely ...
...a compartment under the driver’s seat (for some reason the manual says passenger seat) and operate it from the stereo. The stereo treats the iPod as a CD auto-changer with the 6 discs being replaced by 6 playlists. I’m still getting to grips with this but it seems to work well (track names don’t appear on the display but perhaps this is a bit too much to ask). One slight disappointment is that I expected the Leon to come with an additional 3.5mm ...
