My first car was a Citroen Saxo that I had for around 5 years, and absolutely loved! So when it died and I had to find a new car, I really struggled to find anything that I liked as much. Then I... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages A bit under-powered. Small boot

Seat, the Spanish car manufacturer, have recently launched the new 2001 version of their very popular 1.0 litre Arosa. What has caused most stir in the motoring press has been its new ”look”, said to be very similar to a BMW in the design of the front lights and grille. They have seemingly “borrowed” from yet another luxury car for the rear view, where the light cluster is nearly identical to the baby Lexus, the IS200. The brand new image has had significant imput from designer Walter de Silva, who has just moved to Seat from Alfa Romeo, where he was the chief stylist. Alfa’s big success story ... more

Advantages Advantages Economic, easy to park, looks great

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Space

Although this is the second car I have ever owned I have driven many and I have to say it is the best drive I have had. It really put the fun back into driving when I bought this car; it is extremely easy to drive. The size accompanied by the power steering makes it very easy to manoeuvre. I have to parallel park at least once a day and I used to dread it but I seam to fit into the smallest spaces ever and that comes in very useful in the city as parking in limited. This car is very economic about 40mpg which is good for my engine size is actually 1.4. Because it is quite a light car the ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages RELIABILITY, BOOT CAPACITY, DRIVING EXPERIENCE

Lets be honest you buy a car like this because of its price- £6500 to be exact. Everything else is something of an after thought. Yet do yourself a favour and listen to those voices of doubt. Seat who are owned by the German car manufacturer Volkswagen, have the advantage of using the same components to put together their cars, basically rebadging Volkswagen's cars as their own. In this case the Seat Arosa shares the same chassis and other bits and pieces as the Volkswagon Lupo, but costs around £500 less. In truth you might as well have the Seat if you limit yourself to one of the two cars ... more

Advantages Advantages EASY TO PARK, CHEAP TO RUN

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Slow., Boring, unimaginative

Car is ideal for people looking for town car. Small, easily parked.Low Tax and insurance Quite entertaining to drive (fun at legal speeds).Very unbalanced at legal limit, prone to losing back end. Suffers from poor space both front and rear, hard to get good driving position (im about 6ft). Seriously underpowered with 4 on board. Difficult to access back seats due to three door design (no five door offered). Boot is tiny-only really good for two bags of shopping. No folding or split rear seat, so no use for occasional trips to dump/ikea etc. On base model, equipment is paltry, well worth the ... more

Advantages Advantages size, easy to drive, handles road well

Disadvantages Disadvantages size of the boot

ive had this car for 4 years now, and it still runs as well today as it did when i initially bought it. i have had to relace only minimum parts during my yearly service, things likr brakepads which is just general wear and tear. although it has a small engine, its a nippy wee car, i love driving it. it is so easy to drive and handles all weather conditions well.also, because of the size, parking is so easy. i've never had a problem with this car, and have encouraged two of my friends to buy the same model, both of whom love their cars. downside is the sixe of the boot, but the big back seat ... more
