First off let me give you some information regarding the Ibiza Cupra and its heritage. The Cupra marque came around with the Mk2 facelift Ibiza when they decided to put a specially built VAG 1.8 20 valve turbo petrol engine capable of 154bhp and a 0-60 in a straight 7 seconds.     Advantages Advantages Rare, Sporty, Very Quick, Well equiped

    A while ago i decided to get myself a new car that was going to be fun & fast to drive. I looked at various hot hatches like the Honda Civic Type R, Renault Clio Cup & Golf GTi. The Honda was easily the most impressive of the bunch however, something still wasn't right about it, It just wasn't what I was after.     Advantages Advantages Fast,loads of torque,low tax,economical,rare

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Hard ride, easily curbed alloys,poor dealers,high insurance group

    Have owned my Ibiza Cupra TDI from brand new(2006). Was going to buy an FR but my dealer gave me a better trade on my old car for the top of the range model. I paid £12100 after a reduction of £800 for my trade in. For the money its a great car. Mine is standard spec producing 158bhp and 243lbs of torque which gives the car great pulling power in any gear. Auto express tested this model a few years back and achieved 0-60 in 6.8 seconds(Seat's figures quote a conservative 7.6)which is amazing for a diesel car!
