First off let me give you some information regarding the Ibiza Cupra and its heritage. The Cupra marque came around with the Mk2 facelift Ibiza when they decided to put a specially built VAG 1.8 20 valve turbo petrol engine capable of 154bhp and a 0-60 in a straight 7 seconds.     A while ago i decided to get myself a new car that was going to be fun & fast to drive. I looked at various hot hatches like the Honda Civic Type R, Renault Clio Cup & Golf GTi. The Honda was easily the most impressive of the bunch however, something still wasn't right about it, It just wasn't what I was after.     Have owned my Ibiza Cupra TDI from brand new(2006). Was going to buy an FR but my dealer gave me a better trade on my old car for the top of the range model. I paid £12100 after a reduction of £800 for my trade in. For the money its a great car. Mine is standard spec producing 158bhp and 243lbs of torque which gives the car great pulling power in any gear. Auto express tested this model a few years back and achieved 0-60 in 6.8 seconds(Seat's figures quote a conservative 7.6)which is amazing for a diesel car!
