Buying a brand new car is a very big decision. When i was deciding on the car I would get Seat came to mind. The car looks unique to others, it is at an affordable price, and the quality is superb. Seat is owned by Volkswagen and since Volkswagen has such a good reputation, I though this was a bonus. Basically the Seat Leon is a VW Golf, under the hood that is. The price we paid for our new car was very reasonable considering all the extras that were thrown in, electric sunroof, air con., electric windows, and a cd player fitted. I have had the car for a year now and have had no meachanical problems. The only downside to buying a Seat Leon is the customer service. The salesmen could care less after you've bought the car and are very slow in response to any queries you may have. Overall a great car!

In a way I do agree with you abt the customer service of SEAT. I got a SEAT LEON recently as well. The first dealer that I went to was very good but they turned nasty and there are many tricks up on their tricks. Our car was delayed for almost a mth and we decided to go somewhere else for our SEAT LEON and the dealer was great.
I was wondering the price that u pay, does it include CD Changer, Metalic Colour, carpets and mud flap?

Liked the op but thought it lacked some details. I would like to know about safety features, fuel consumption and ride quality.I hired a Seat Panda in Spain some years ago it was ideal for the rough roads but was very lacking in comfort, although of course it was a more basic model than yours. I wasn't aware it was owned by VW so no doubt this has improved it's quality and reliability if not the service. Regards Dave
