After struggling with 2 Dyson uprights over the last 10 years we decided to change manufacturer. After asking around the most efficient & long lasting brand was Sebo. We pruchased this model and WOW ans I wouldn't be without it!. It has a variable power setting and comes with a hard floor head (which you oif you have parquet flooring as the main head is automatic. The upholstery brush is fantastic on pet hair. The head swivels (like the dyson ball) but much better and it is very manoeverable. My only downside so far is that bags seem to fill up quite quicklthis may be beacause I am used to the Dysons which have quite a good capacity. Overall its a must for anyone wanting a great performer that lasts.
