We have previously owned vacuums that we considered to be excellent models, Vacs, Dyson and Electrolux to name a few. (we really get through them don't we?)
Our last Vacuum was on it's way out and while browsing around TC Hayes some months ago we spotted this one. The sales rep explained that although this vacuum was the most expensive one that they currently stocked, she explained it's capabilities and sold it - literally.
Having a Son who suffers with Asthma and skin conditions she explained to us how the benefits of this vacuum could help him.
This Sebo cylindervacuum cleaner is a hospital grade, high filtration, anti allergy model. It's a sealed HEPPA system so it doesn't leak dust which is also great for my sons condition....... oh and the house of course! It has microfilters that provide the High filtration. It is efficient and ergonomic and is upgradable to anticipate the future. It is manufactured in Germany.
It has a telescopic tube and combination nozzle and has locking parts in the holes of the tube which makes it really easy to use. All the attachments fit both the telescopic tube and the handle.
It also has a unique soft bumper to protect walls and furniture and the cable winds easily in the bottom of the vacuum. An orange light indicates when the bags are full. The bags are not too expensive (approx £10.00 for 10 but comes suppied with I think 3 spare bags but maybe 2 - can't remember, sorry). The smaller attachments fit inside the compartment on the front of the vacuum. Thats the small round brush and long tapered cleaning tube.
It is extremely powerful and has the additional bonus of a motor power brush which runs in addition to the normal vacuum function making cleaning effortless. The power brush is connected by plugging in into the contact at the top of the tube and it is with this that you get optimal cleaning.
Instruction leaflets for use and safety are included.
This vacuum is so effortless to use and leaves carpets and sofas looking like new (But be careful of tassles and other loose fringes). This is no joke!
For an example of just how powerful it really is, I will tell you what happened to me recently.
I was vacuuming the lounge and there were a few bits of paper under the sofa so I removed the motor brush from the end of the tube (being lazy I did not disconnect it from the contact) and put the long tapered tube on the end. Kneeling on the floorto see under the couch.......yes I suppose you guessed it from my title..........my long hair was sucked into the motor brush which was of course still connected and it stuck fast to my head. The only way I could get if off was to scream for hubby to help, he ran in, turned off the vacuum and rolled with laughter, as were the kids ...... and there was I, tears streaming down my face, clutching my head. I had a headache for two days afterwards but can laugh about it now!
A good review but what I love about the Sebo's range is the sheer simplicity of ease and attention to detail. How much was this model though? I have an upright Sebo model which I think, is probably the best bagged upright cleaner I have ever paid cash for! Little known fact; your Sebo bags are the same as the bags used on the upright which means you'll probably take two to three months to fill up the large capacity. N

Maybe one of these attacked me when I was asleep one night, it might explain the fact that I am follicley challenged. Seriously though, a good op.
