Advantages: Fairly lightweight and maneuverable. Superbly compact. Disadvantages: Folding chairs will never achieve the performance of rigid lightweights.
Anyone who uses a wheelchair and lives in somewhat cramped conditions will understand the need for a folding wheelchair. Generally, ultralight, high-performance wheelchairs take up a lot of space, so many users opt for folding chairs instead. However, many folding chairs are heavy, bulky and difficult to self-propel effectively. The Compact is none of these things.
I am very satisfied with the Kuschall Compact, on the whole. For a folding chair, the Compact's performance is very good. It is light, at 7.5kg without its removable parts, and fairly maneuverable, although not as maneuverable as a sports/ultralight chair. It copes well with corners, long distances and small hills. I, personally, find it comfortable to sit in, although need to move around after sitting in it for a few hours.
From my perspective, having a folding chair is ...
Advantages: 2 scarts Disadvantages: Occasional loss of sound output for about 2 seconds
I bought this for my parents who have a 20-year old TV linked to a DVD/HDD/VHS recorder. Trying to get it to send the scart out to the scart in on the recorder resulted in a jumping picture. Going from the recorder scart out to the STB to the TV worked, so maybe the scart signal is not quite right. I then swapped this for my Woolworths STB and their setup then worked with arial -> STB -> recorder -> TV, so I kept the Logik STB for myself.
It works well as a replacement for my Woolworths STB, but about every 15 minutes there is a break in the sound output for about 2 seconds. I don't know if this is on all channels (it has happened on BBC1, Five US and BBC 4), or if this is in the digital signal itself, but I never got that with my Woolworths STB.
The setup is very easy, the menus are simple to use and the online programme guide is ...
Advantages: Looks good, Sound quality is FANTASTIC Disadvantages: Does not take batteries - has to be plugged in
I purchased the bose sounddock on a recent trip to the USA needless to say it was a lot cheaper out there i paid about £150. It's small and fairly lightweight: 6.65" H x 11.91 W x 6.48" D (16.89cm x 30.26 x 16.47cm) 4.56lbs (2.1kg)
It comes with credit card sized waterproof remote control which comes in really useful if you want to use it in the bathroom!!! The sound quality is amazing, especially considering it's coming out of something so small, crystal clear and very loud, and does not distorte when turned up.
From the remote it can be turned up and down skip forwards and backwards play and pause and from the sound dock itself it can just be turned up and down. The remote control takes 1 3volt lithium battery which apparently lasts between 1 and 2 years (but i've not had it long enough to know if thats correct!)
It comes with 5 ...
