Advantages: Genuine hard wearing and fast drying top coat with a high shine. Disadvantages: expensive and you can only buy it at specialist shops
...to apply their products!
So onto the actual SecheVite product and the fuss about it…
*SecheVite Dry Fast Top coat* (There is not a section on Ciao for this specific product)
The blurb says that this is actually acknowledged as the world's finest top coat, but I am not sure if that is just marketing hype or for real (i.e. how is it actually acknowledged?). The thing is unless you have manicures regularly and at different places you will not really come across this as it is not available in high street well known chemists such as Boots and SuperDrug. I bought my bottle from a little chemist in Temple Fortune, London, but you can get it at some salons that use and sell a variety of products.
The main thing is realise is it is expensive but I have to say that I think it is the best top coat I have ever used. For a regular-sized nail...

Advantages: looks pretty when done Disadvantages: runny white polish, chips easily, stickers were useless
...found much better. once this was done i used the top coat to finish, which was lovely. the manicure over all was very pretty, but it lasted my friend just a day as the white tips chipped very easily as you had to have two coats to get an even result....

Advantages: Nice pastel colour and shine Disadvantages: Limited ridge-filling ability
..."plastic-y." On its own, I quite like it - sort of "My Nails But Better."
However... the ridgefilling part is a bit hit and miss. I found it takes two coats to fill my deep ridges on my left hand, and even then you can *see* the ridges better because the polish pools into them, then dries. It looks a bit cool, actually, like tiger-stripes... but not what I was after. It works fine with one coat on minor dents and ridges. Eventually I discovered that a buffing block basically "files" my ridges off very gently.
The other problem I have is that because this is plastic-y, other nail polishes dont sit so well over it, making it useless as a basecoat. So I use it as an everyday 'nude' colour, sort of a french manicure without the white stripes across the top (it is sheer enough to allow the natural white of my nail to peep through). It does last...

If you enjoy Ridge Racer and aren't too fussed about change, you are likely to enjoy Ridge Racer 7. It's more of the same, yet again, but if you dig that you'll no doubt dig Namco's latest. I'm going to echo those sentiments with the multiplayer... more
I think it’s fair to say I’ve mentioned the fair Miss Lewis on the odd occasion throughout my time here on Ciao, but I doubt many people will have been lucky enough to have actually got the chance to listen to her music. She’s defiantly under-the-radar,... more
