nice gentle product

Advantages: safe and side effect free
Disadvantages: not particulary effective if you have a serious sleep disorder

...product and I love the badger range but unfortunately did not help with my insomnia but then neither did sleeping tablets so it may be that it would work with a lower level sleeping problem. I love the cute tins and that they are not tested on animals and there are no side effects at all which with many prescription sleep tablets occur, you won't get a headache or feel drowsy the next morning or get addicted. I imagine it is also safe for children ...

Struggling to sleep? dont want the worry of getting addicted to sleeping tablets? Try these. You will pay £4 for a pack from your local supermarket or pharmacy. Most places will have stock in. You take one tablet at night approtximately an hour before you go to sleep it is a naural sleeping aid so no addictive ingrediants are added so you will feel safe in using them. ...found that the general stresses of day to day life would go round in my head as soon as my head hit the pillow and I am a sufferer of back pain and restless leg syndrome so getting comfortable to sleep is a challenge in itself. There is no worry that you will fall into a deep sleep and not wake to tend to the children if something may happen. There is no worry that you will get addicted to them and if you are pregnant it will not affect the baby ...

...back of my medication drawer. Night nurse is a fantastic medication to take if you are unfortunate enough to be hit by the lurgies. WHAT IS IT FOR? I personally only use it when I have a bad cold (also known as a flu-like illness, or man-flu to most women!) The box claims that it is useful for the relief of tickly cough, shivers, aches and pains, runny nose, sore throat pain and headache. It probably works for all of the above other than the cough ...
...bad cold. The dose in Night Nurse is the same as taking two of the usual Paracetamol tablets. Promethazine - This is essentially a sedating antihistamine. It is included to make you feel drowsy and therefore promote a good nights sleep. I feel that the worst problem with having a flu like illness is that it is often hard to get to sleep, and I am sure that lack of sleep makes the whole situation a heck of a lot worse! Dextromethorphan - This is ...

Combat the Motion Sickness

Advantages: It works
Disadvantages: /

Phenergan is an over the counter or prescribed medicine that has several uses. It can be used for travel sickness and this has been the main reason I have used it repeatedly over the years, but also for allergic reactions such as hay fever or hives and as a mild sedative. I was first introduced to Phenergan through work colleagues. My son was about 9 months old at the time and I was struggling to keep my eyes open at work as my son did not sleep ...
...office suggested I get some Phenergan and occasionally give my son a spoonful before bed, as it is a mild sedative and would give me a full nights sleep every so often to re-charge my batteries. I was a little dubious and fearful of giving my son a sedative just so I could sleep through the night, but eventually I battled with my conscience and went to the chemist. Thankfully, at this point I was turned away as they do not sell this over the counter ...

...the chemist to fetch some Night Nurse liquid. I badly wanted a good night's sleep, and given the name of the product, thought Night Nurse might be the (figurative) prescription I needed. I was right...but with reservations. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What Night Nurse is ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Night Nurse is a green viscous liquid that comes in a dark coloured glass bottle. It contains paracetamol to kill pain and reduce fever, promethazine to clear ...
...would prevent you from using Night Nurse. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ How to use Night Nurse - and when not to use it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Before going to bed, pour 20ml into the handily provided cup. Drink. Go to bed. Sleep. Make sure you have LOTS of water near you, though, as you will wake up thirsty (more on that in a minute). As with any medication, there are contraindications and side effects. The above referenced site details these, as ...
