From Microscopic to Telescopic!!!

Advantages: Creates long, luscious lashes with no clumps, inexpensive
Disadvantages: Difficult to remove from its packaging

Okay, I said it wouldn?t happen, but it did ? Penelope Cruz has done it again! As the ?Face of L?Oreal?, she?s managed to persuade me once again to part with my hard earned cash, and splash out on yet another of her recommended beauty products, in a bid to convince me that I too, can look like her ? this time, it?s L?Oreal?s new Telescopic Mascara. Up until about March of this year, I?d been using a couple of different tried and tested mascaras. Each day would vary between me using my cheap bog-standard Boots No 17 mascara, and other days, (when I felt I needed to look a bit more ?glam?, I?d don my other favourite (but much more expensive), YSL mascara. Penelope had been shouting out at me to try this new one by L?Oreal in various magazines and TV adverts for weeks, and every time I went into my local Boots the Chemist during ...

Martin Kemp COMPELLING

Advantages: excellent read
Disadvantages: none

Martin Kemp and compelling, two words that I’d never thought I’d say in the same sentence but that’s what this book is, compelling. I purchased it from Amazon.co.uk with a free five pound voucher that I received through lineone.com. I bought this book because I like reading autobiographies and I had seen martin kemp on this is your life and found his tales to be fascinating. Reviewing books is not one of my strong points but I just had to write about this so bare with me. I shall provide a brief explanation but I don’t want to ruin it for others; - The first chapter is based around the first operation for the one of two brain tumours that he had and it goes into great detail about how he was feeling and the weird experiences he incurred whilst in hospital. - The second chapter talks about his ...

Eye To The Telescope

Advantages: Shes refreshing for the most part...
Disadvantages: ...shes a bit too Norah sometimes!

Welcome to the sublime world of KT Tunstall! Not well known (yet!) she has just released ?Eye To The Telescope? her debut album. Single ?Black Horse & The Cherry Tree? is getting lots of airplay both on radio and on MTV etc! Seeing and hearing this I thought the mix of Texas like vocals and catchy beats I would be interested in the album. Then AndyMc1976 gave me a copy (naughty I know) and I was really impressed. The album starts with the haunting ?Other Side Of The World? a guitary mid tempo affair. This song is really catchy thanks to the guitar riff! Her vocals particularily whilst singing ?other side? are stunning. She has a very pure voice slightly deep voice, with a hint of gravel to it making her sound quite original. A nice opener. Claps and dark beats (with deep cello notes) start ?Another Place To Fall?. This is quite ...
