Sega Superstars Tennis (Xbox 360)

...Sega superstars Tennis brings together the great sega characters of the past to battle it out in the ultimate tournament..... Sound familiar? yes its a basic rehash of Mario Tennis, But mario tennis isn't here.... Sega superstars Tennis IS ! ! Its a simple enough formula and one that you wouldnt expect to fail, lots of lovable characters, tennis, super powered moves, simple controls. But its simple perfection is also its downfall. Yes its got good gameplay, you will have fun playing through the trophies to unlock further content of the game, but in the end, its just a pretty average game, it doesnt necessarily fail at any point, its just that it never excells either. Advantages: Lots of things to do
Disadvantages: can get a bit fustrating (when losing)

...skills and they are fun and unusual. Make sure that you enter the competitions that you qualify for because this is the only way you can get your ranking down. Also the pros will invite you to a practice game and if you win that you will also improve your levels in the different sections. Plus there are all the normal game modes like exhibition etc. There is the xbox live option as well so you can thrash or get thrashed with other people rather than just playing the computer all the time. They have given you lots of achievements (xbox live achievements) so that you will have fun and build up your gamer points. The only disadvantage I have found is sega haven't really done much with the music it is very repetitive (it reminds me of the music for sonic - when the mega drive was around). ...Virtua Tennis is Sega Sport's most successful product. Sega Sports is the division in Sega which concentrates on primarily making Sports Titles. Many games in their series have failed to capture the success Virtua Tennis encaptured. Virtua Athlete, and Virtua Striker have all sold poorly yet Virtua Tennis has remained a fan favourite. Games 1 and 2 were originally released on the Dreamcast only for Virtua Tennis 2 to be ported over to the Playstation 2 when the Dreamcast had officially been withdraw from the market. Great move by Sega since the Playstation 2 had a fanbase of 100 million users compared to the tiny fraction of 10 million worldwide with the Dreamcast.
