I tried having driving lessons when I was 17 but gave up because I didn't feel encouraged by my first driving instructor and lacked the confidence to take a test. I restarted again with Select when I was 23 and found the difference to be amazing. My instructor gave me confidence and never once made me feel like I was ever doing anything wrong, he was encouraging and extremely competent and I found I understood maneuvres such as reverse around the corner so much more easily than with my previous instructor.
I would definitely recommend Select and, indeed I already have when friends/family have been interested in learning to drive.
I passed my test early this year, something I never thought i'd ever achieve.
I'd definitely recommend Select Driving school every time.

At over fifty years old, I thought I would never be able to drive, I tried six years ago I had twenty lessons and never got on the road, and was told I would never drive.
Last week, I passed my test at only the second time, and in just over six months.
I am so pleased that I found Select Driving School, and Phil. I was on the road within two days, had bags of confidence within three days, and actually enjoyed driving within four day.
The day after passing my test i drove to work, i love it and could not have done it without the right instructor and school.

Select Driving School had exactly what I was looking for; knowledgeable, competent, friendly, encouraging and experienced instructors along with an array of intensive courses to suit any need.
I had to wait until they had availability for the intensive course I wanted, but it was worth it. I passed my test at the first time!. I really recommend Select Driving School as a place where you learn the skills you need to be confident the road and just not to pass the test. They are worth every penny. ...
