I was saying to my best friend that we need some good clothes shops for women in our area. We live in a small town with not a great variety of shops, the one store we usually went to was peacocks but i think they have started to go down hill a little bit,there clothes tend to look cheap. To our suprise the following week a new shop was to open and of course it was select , i was so excited i love to shop and it was local what more could i ask for. Opening day of select we dived in to the shop and i had gone to heaven not only were the clothes execellent value for money , they were execellent quality too,and they had a openning day sale( bliss )
The overall layout of the shop was good but a little bit crowded,as i had my son in his pushchair i found he grabbed quite a few clothes from the rails(a bit emmbarassing when he is trailing a pair of knickers along the ground).
I had picked up rather alot of clothes to try on so i went off into the changing rooms. Just a little blue curtain seperating you from view of the whole shop,and everybody knows that curtains never close over without having gaps at either side,plus i still had the pushchair with me which made things even worse.In the end i had my son shoved up against the curtain and i was cowering in the corner trying to try on my clothes, i was getting a bit of a sweat on my now ,my hair was all over i bet i looked loverly.
This shop has a wide variety of clothes ,suitable for girls and women. I think the womens range starts from a size 8 up to a size 16,and iam not to sure on the kiddies range,think its maybe 10yrs to 16yrs.
The fashoins vary from every day clothes like jeans and jumpers to clubbing gear,mini skirts,eveningwear,t-shirts and jackets. The quality of the garments are excellent and value for money is excellent.
They offer a full refund garentee as long as you have your reicept,as do most stores.The staff have had good training and are very helpfull.
In the end i ended up buying:
Two pairs of trousers,black with studs around the pockets, they were on special by 1 get 1 free total of £12-00
A plain black short skirt £7-00
A boned black boob tube at an amazing £3-90, in the sale
A black stretch top with a chinese glitter dragon on the front £10-00
A black halter neck top with purple gems around the neck £4-50 in the sale
So in the end i only spent £37-40 on 6 items which in my book is a good afternoons shopping(apart from when i got home and hubbie found out) I would strongly recomend this shop to all women out there who want a good bargain and great quality clothes. Thumbs up from me select well done.

Good op - I love the part about your son dragging the knickers behind him, my son had a habit of wanting to "feel" womens clothes (on hangers i hasten to add, not on women!) - sarah :o)
