Hi everyone Im new to ciao and I thought I would tell you about this experience I had yesterday to get it off my chest.

I bought this georgeous jumper for £7.99 in the sale,from a shop where I live called select. Select is a young ladies fashion shop that is very affordable in price, it also sells make up, jewellery, and hair stuff.They had some really good bargins on when I went but I didn't have time to try the jumper on. It was one size so I thought it'll fit, anyway I get home and tried on the jumper to find out it didn't fit at all.

I checked the reciept and it said I could have a refund within 7 days of purchase, so 6 days later I took it back (didn't have time to take it back sooner) I took the jumper with the receipt to this girl that was slouched over the till chewing gum and reading a magazine, very unprofessional I thought but I explained to her it didn't fit and Im only a size 10 so a 'one size' jumper should fit.

She checked the jumper over and over again gave me a dirty look aqnd walked off into this room. She came back out laughing with this other girl and said she wouldn't give me the refund coz its been worn and washed I went mad at her but she still wouldn't give me a refund even though I took it back within the 7 day policy. She said she wasn't in the 'position' to give me a refund, I thought wot a load of bull****
So I never did get my money back.

In general it's a great store it's got nice fashionable clothes, but if I buy from there again i'll deffinately try it on first.

So just to let any ciao members know that if your shopping in a shop called select be warned, you might not get a refund!!!
