fake bake. really good fake tan not orange and reasonable price!
Advantages: even non orange golden tan Disadvantages: smellsa little bit like fake tan!!
...is one of the best fake tans out there, what i mostly like about fake bake is that it is non streaky and is a nice golden brown rather than most fake tans that are tangy orange colour. It has a nice even coverage, altough you have to be very fast with it as it sinks in pritty much straight away. Dont forget to moisturise your hands and kness and feet and elbows first though!! The other good thing is that the colour comes out straight away but it ...

Fake Bake Xtreme: One of the worst fake tans I have ever used!
Advantages: None I can think of. Disadvantages: Too many.
...deal with this through extensive fake tanning and staying clear of sunbeds. I have tried many tans and although I am fair skinned I do tend to go for fake tans which are for darker skins as I am not a fan of the 'sunkissed' look.. I want full blown BRONZE! Obviously what attracted me to this product was that it states it is 'xtreme' tanning gel. This made me think that one application would be enough to turn me to the shade of bronze I usually only ... ...myself to be ridiculously tanned but it made little difference. I would not recommend this product as I do not feel it is value for money (I got it for £20) and I feel that much cheaper own brand fake tans from high street stores give a lot better results. ...

Sun Kissed in a bottle?
Advantages: Quick to dry & absorb, natural colour, relatively easy to apply Disadvantages: smell could be improved, can be a bit patchy
I've naturally pale skin and always feel self conscious of this over the summer months, particularly when it comes to getting my legs out when they've been hidden away over the winter months. Not wanting to go for sun beds after all the health warnings associated with these, I opted for a tan in a bottle.
Wary of looking like the orange celebs we seem to see all the time, I was careful with the shade selected and went for the lightest possible selection. ... ...these really difficult to apply, slow to absorb and streaky so this gel based product instantly appealed to me. The price was pretty good too, at £6.50.
After preparing my skin as directed (exfoliated and moisturised!) I applied the gel, little by little. I was surprised by how quickly this absorbed but a bit concerned that the product didn't appear to show on the skin. I was unsureif this would give an even tan as I was relying on memory as to ...

Most natural tan!
Advantages: Natural tan, long lasting, easy to apply Disadvantages: smells
I use this product regularly and think it is the best fake tan of them all! My best results have been when I exfoliate before and moisturise 3 hours before applying the tan. So I recommend doing this before you fake tan. Most of the time I skip this step as it still does acheive excellent results. I think it is important to leave 3 hours after moisturising for the skin to soak up the moisture otherwise this can make your tan not develop as deep.
... ...see where you are putting it a lot of the other fake tans out there go on colourless therefore you can't see where you have put it on and how heavy you have put it on. If I buy a new bottle I find the pump difficult to get the fake tan out however it does get going eventually.
It does go on streaky however aslong I cover the area with fake tan it always develops the same shade of brown evenly on me. I think the tan feels like a very thick moisturiser ...

Mousse Me Up.
Advantages: Streak Free, Easy To Apply, Dark Even Colour, Lasts Ages Disadvantages: Pricey
...that I did on the Fake Bake Self Tanning Lotion that I am quite the Fake Bake fan. I have had plenty of experiences with other fake tans of turning all different shades of colour, of patches of fake tan being removed in the rain and of having hands ten times darker than my body, but in my opinion Fake Bake products do not leave you with any of these results.
I first tried Fake Bake because I wanted to try something a little bit more expensive than ... ...really heard a lot about Fake Bakes itself but when I tested a variety of the fake tans on offer in Harvey Nichols it seemed to be the one that suited me the best.
I first tried the Fake Bake Airbrush Tan which I think was around £25. The thing I love about all the Fake Bake range is that they give a very realistic looking tan, and turn you a far more desirable brown than a tacky orange. Although I really liked the airbrush for the results it gave, ...
