fake bake. really good fake tan not orange and reasonable price! Advantages: even non orange golden tan Disadvantages: smellsa little bit like fake tan!! ...is one of the best fake tans out there, what i mostly like about fake bake is that it is non streaky and is a nice golden brown rather than most fake tans that are tangy orange colour. It has a nice even coverage, altough you have to be very fast with it as it sinks in pritty much straight away. Dont forget to moisturise your hands and kness and feet and elbows first though!! Sun Kissed in a bottle? Advantages: Quick to dry & absorb, natural colour, relatively easy to apply Disadvantages: smell could be improved, can be a bit patchy I've naturally pale skin and always feel self conscious of this over the summer months, particularly when it comes to getting my legs out when they've been hidden away over the winter months. Not wanting to go for sun beds after all the health warnings associated with these, I opted for a tan in a bottle. Wary of looking like the orange celebs we seem to see all the time, I was careful with the shade selected and went for the lightest possible selection. ... ...these really difficult to apply, slow to absorb and streaky so this gel based product instantly appealed to me. The price was pretty good too, at £6.50. After preparing my skin as directed (exfoliated and moisturised!) I applied the gel, little by little. Most natural tan! Advantages: Natural tan, long lasting, easy to apply Disadvantages: smells I use this product regularly and think it is the best fake tan of them all! My best results have been when I exfoliate before and moisturise 3 hours before applying the tan. So I recommend doing this before you fake tan. Most of the time I skip this step as it still does acheive excellent results. I think it is important to leave 3 hours after moisturising for the skin to soak up the moisture otherwise this can make your tan not develop as deep. ... ...see where you are putting it a lot of the other fake tans out there go on colourless therefore you can't see where you have put it on and how heavy you have put it on. If I buy a new bottle I find the pump difficult to get the fake tan out however it does get going eventually. It does go on streaky however aslong I cover the area with fake tan it always develops the same shade of brown evenly on me. Fake Bake Xtreme: One of the worst fake tans I have ever used! Advantages: None I can think of. Disadvantages: Too many. ...deal with this through extensive fake tanning and staying clear of sunbeds. I have tried many tans and although I am fair skinned I do tend to go for fake tans which are for darker skins as I am not a fan of the 'sunkissed' look.. I want full blown BRONZE! Obviously what attracted me to this product was that it states it is 'xtreme' tanning gel. This made me think that one application would be enough to turn me to the shade of bronze I usually only ... ...myself to be ridiculously tanned but it made little difference. Great for an even natural tan! Advantages: Easy to apply, no streaks, healthy natural tan Disadvantages: colour doesn't go as deep as the st tropez lotion, orange hands if you don't use gloves I used to use st tropez moose I think it is very easy to apply as it goes on coloured so you can see where you are putting it and it helps you work out places you have missed as they will be white. I also find it goes on evenly and doesn't look streaky when first applied like the lotion does. I think this is the best fake tan for newbies to tanning as it is so easy to use. I sometimes exfoliate and moisturise like you are meant to but then other ... ...difference. I find the tan does last slightly longer on exfoliated skin as it is scrubbing the dead cells away. I recommend that if you are going to moisturise before to do it a few hours before as if you put on the tan straight after it can affect how deep the tan will go. When I put on the mousse it makes me looked tanned straight away.
