clarins self tanning milk Advantages: gives great sun kissed glow but natural Disadvantages: none I've used this self tan for years on my face in spring/summer instead of foundation. It just gives a natural healthy glow, and if you then add a tiny bit more on your cheeks, it acts as blusher also. Then instead of foundation going graesy on your skin in the sun, you just have a natural look. I reapply it about every week. The tube has lasted several years, down to last squirt now.It may be a bit more expensive than some others but its worth it, ... ...it deteriorating. It is subtle but effective and easy to use. I'm off to buy another. I have tried others in the past, but none as good as this in my opinion. Highly recommended if you want a subtle glow. Sun Kissed Look Advantages: No streaks Disadvantages: None Ok so heres the story.... I had finished booking my holiday last year and the thing thats was worrying me the most was getting my body out into my bikini and sitting there watchin all the other females with envy with the sun kissed tans and thin toned bodies. I couldnt think of anything worse than going to a tanning salon and slipping into a paper bra infront of all the barbie dolls! So i decided i would buy a self tan from the shops. I purchased ... ...that small price tag came superb results! I applied in during the night and when i woke up in the morning i could already see a difference. My skin was tinted, a beautiful natural sun kissed look. I loved it! And so i kept applying it, however, i was fairly worried that it may turn me orange but it didnt, it kept the natural tan look throughout all the time i applied it. Best self tanner Advantages: Instant drying, nice smell, 100% natural looking tan Disadvantages: None.. Clarins Selt Tanning Instant Gel - note the new packaging is bronze not yellow as the image shows above. This is the BEST self tanner I've ever used. The gel drys almost instantly and is completely absorbed with no stickiness. The gel smells pleasant and doesnt have a strong after smell like lots of tanners - it doesn't stain sheets - i like to put it on before bed. It gave the most natural looking tan I have ever achieved from a self tan product ... ...would much rather use the Clarins product for a quick, easy and natural looking tan. As the tan fades away there is no blothiness - I have had it on for a week and still have a nice colour - it just seems to fade naturally and doesn't start getting patchy. Finally with other self tanners I found that every time I had a bath there was a faint brown scum line in the bath afterwards. Again with the Clarins product there have been no marks left in the ... clarins radiance-plus self tanning cream-gel Advantages: gives a nice glow if applied correctly, and no problem for sensitive skin Disadvantages: lid doesnt stay on, can look patchy if skin is dry I have been using clarins radiance plus self tanning moisturising gel for a while now, this is because its the only self tan i have ever used that is good for sensitive skin. I wouldnt say it was very moisturising. I tend to still use my usual moisturiser on top of this product, as my skin goes quite dry if i use clarins radiance plus on its own. It does give a nice colour,as long as your skin is well moisturised and exfoliated before hand, otherwise ... ...give no colour at all, clarins radiance plus is the best where these are concerned as long as again its applied again, correctly, and you dont need much. The price from Boots was £21.50, the last time i bought it, and lasted for at least 6 months, so its worth the money.
