No more pale face Advantages: Gives a natural glow with no effort & value for money Disadvantages: Expensive but value for money I have been using Lancome Soleil Flash Bronzer Self Tanning Face Gel for a couple of years now and wouldn't be without it. I have tried nearly every other self tanning product for the face and this has to be the best. It is easy and quick to use. I tend to put some on in the morning after I have washed my face and before I apply any make up. It is a light gel and doesn't clog your pores particularly if you are prone to oily skin. I put 2-3 squirts ... ...then rub into my cheeks, blending over the rest my face outwards. Ensure to rub a little lightly over your noise and forehead and go right up to your hair line as these places tend to show the tan up more. The tan gradually develops over the morning and is very subtle. It gives a very natural looking glow. If you want to enhance the tan, just keep applying it more often to build it up. lancome airbrush tanner Advantages: good quality and nice colour Disadvantages: colourless and needs to be rubbed in ...and she brought along this Lancome flash tanning mousse, it was really great and quick to use, so I thought, hell..Ill treat myself. I found a cheaper deal on Cheapsmells.com for £12.95, but when it arrived I realised it wasnt the product I thought it was, but the airbrush one instead. Nevertheless I decided to give it a go a on the tuesday night before plans to go out on the saturday night. And arent I glad i planned in advance! The can is really ... ...that its colourless whilst spraying so I didnt have much of an idea where I had/ hadn't covered. It took a few hours to dry so I locked myself in my room for the rest of the night. Bearing in mind i was only testing it out, so i didnt spray my back or cover the insides of my arms very well. I was gutted that a few hours down the line there was no sign of change on my milk-white legs so I decided to call it a night. Golden brown straight from the can! Lancome is a French cosmetics company that makes high quality products including skincare, make up, perfume, self tanning and body care items. They are a popular brand launched in 1935 with five fragrances they then branched out into skincare with the launch of Nutrix a product which still has the same formula today. They then launched the Oceane line in ... ...anything. It has the recognizable Lancome rose logo on the front with some writing in French and then in English "Self-Tanning Magic Mousse Immediate Colour and Intense Hydration" at the bottom of the front section of the can. I didn't recognise my legs! Advantages: Instant natural-looking golden legs Disadvantages: as with any tan lotion, needs a while to dry Lovely, lovely. I'm so happy I've discovered this product. I spent £35 on a St Tropez airbrush treatment last week in order not to blind fellow guests with my legs at a very glam wedding in France this weekend. As soon as I got to the salon the lovely lady told me I'd need at least 2 sessions for it to have an impact on my white-to-blue skin, which wasn't very helpful as I was flying off the next morning. So there I was in the duty-free shop at ... ...about guaranteeing streaky legs at my hotel that night (some people swear by this stuff, but I can't get it right) when I thought, no - be brave, try something new. So I bought the Flash Bronzer (£14 on duty free, so probably retails at £16 ish). And yay! It smells, well, as well as can be expected, frankly, though better than most. Goes on evenly. The best bit? It's instant. Flasher! Me? Advantages: Does seem to dry quite quickly, nice subtle shimmer, no marks on clothes Disadvantages: Dried skin out, no guide colour, dodgy result! ...product so kindly accepted a Lancome spray tan from my mum. LANCOME FLASH BRONZER - SELF TANNING SPRITZ As with all other Lancome products, the packaging is less than fashionable. It's not repulsive or cheap looking but it's certainly not youthful or cutting edge. The water-like self tanner comes in a 150ml sturdy clear orange bottle (orange?! That's not giving me much faith in the expected colour of the tan…) with a push on plastic lid. Sadly ... ...AFTER APPLICATION Lancome state that you should be able to dress immediately after application. I think any self tanner stating this is exaggerating slightly as I don't think you could ever dress immediately after using one. However, it's not all lies as this does seem to sink in to a reasonable degree after about 5 minutes.
