Quick and Simple Natural Looking Tan. Easy to Correct. Advantages: Quick and Easy, No Smell, Easy to Correct and does not break the bank, No skin damage Disadvantages: Make sure you wear gloves it can stain hands I purchased the Medium Matte version of the SunShimmer Instant Tan, please do not get the shimmer version it does not look natural. I am fair to medium skin tone and usually use sunbeds however haven't been on for a while and thought I would try this. Make sure you exfoliate as you usually would with false tan. I put it on first time using my hands and no gloves however went onto my body a good colour, no streaks and only came off when washing with ... ...had very orangey red hands and no soap and water would shift it. Next attempt I used plastic gloves and found it actually went on better on my skin and no orange hands. I would recommend this product it does not transfer onto clothes, even on a white dress! Very quick and easy no nasty smell, no developing time and no odd streaks. in a word brilliant Advantages: drys fast is a gorgeous colour and works excellently Disadvantages: none iv been using this stuff for a long time now and its the best for a instant tan. It works brilliantly and application is so fast and easy. I absolutely love it there's light medium and dark in it so you can decide how light or dark you choose to go and the tan is very even and hard to get wrong. Its a great instant tanner id recommend it to anyone. It dries fast too which is wonderful for those who cant be bothered waiting around for things to dry ... ...you don't have to wait long for it to dry cos its hard not to bump into things with other tanners that take a lot longer to dry its brilliant. Purple The New Brown? Advantages: Cheap, Instant, Easy To Get Hold Of, Looks Okay Sometimes Disadvantages: Hard To Apply, Streaky, Messy, Hard To Wash Off Hands I bought this product because a friend had mentioned that she liked to use it before going out. It sounded like it would suit me because I am often too scatter brained to remember to do my fake tan the night before I have something on. Another reason that she had suggested I give it a go was because it was pretty cheap (around £4.99 for a reasonable sized bottle ) and it was instant so it was good if you forgot or just wanted to top up your tan before ... ...bottle from boots because it was relatively easy to get hold of. I have to say I don't really know why she recommended it to me but she isn't the best at fake tan so I think she just expects bad results due to the way in which she applies it.. instant Tan+ it does what it says on the can! Advantages: very cheap, spray even upsidown, non-transferable, nice colour, very quick drying and appliying Disadvantages: gives the room a tan if not careful, difficult appling in awkward areas ...I ended up buying the Rimmel Instant Bronze Spray, I don't normally buy instant tan I prefer the tans that gradually develop over a few hours as they last a few days. The reason I bought the instant Tan this time was a price thing, It was only £1.99 and as this time of year there is less choice and the prices seem to get silly on the choice available as-well. I preffer can sprays to the liquid sprays as you can have it upside down and they still ... ...and slippery either, I dont mind the creams and gels but Im lazy and sprays are just so much quicker. So Im home alone with my can of Instant tan, Its only a smallish can, equivelant to a body spray in size and Im not expecting it to last long, Im also wondering if its going to leave imprints of me every time I touch something or come off as quick as it goes on and leave streaks to die for ... always read the label Advantages: after sun care Disadvantages: gold sparkle ...logos I stumbled on the Rimmel SunShimmer range. Instant temporary tans. Hooray! Confused by the terminology on all these tubes of lotions and potions I got disheartened and grabbed a white tube of 'Tan Enhancer', thinking I could at least hang onto my peachy glow for a few days longer by religious after care. I paid my £2.49 at the checkout (It's on special at the moment, I think the usual price is about £4.50) and headed home. Bed time came along ... ...A closer look at the Rimmel Tan Enhancer and it turns out that's why it has 'Shimmer' in the name. it's full of little bloody gold bits. Further reading, which perhaps I should have done before, and it also transpires that the cream contains a very low level of DHA (fake tan). I rushed to the bathroom in a blind panic to check for orange streaks. And found... none.
