Advantages Easy to use and reliable

Disadvantages Lacking in features

Well call me old-fashioned, but I like simple, easy to use technology that doesn't have an extremely long learning curve. The Sendo S300 appeals to me for that very reason. It's Simple. And at the end of the day, its called a phone because it's function is to simply ring people. If it has any other unnecessary features well it's therefore in my eyes no longer a phone.
I'm sick and tired of being told that I NEED the latest features for my phone. '' Jake, you NEED bluetooth, you NEED a 5 megapixel camera, you NEED this you NEED that. Frankly, I don't give one.
My friends are transfixed in this technological obsessed society where it seems it's no longer acceptable to have a phone like a Sendo S300. There is still hope for this kind of mobile phone as the website Twitter.com (check my review if you aren't sure what it is) proved. This simple technology may come back round, hopefully.

Anyway, on with the features of this simple but splendid mobile phone. Once turning on you will see the network your subscribed to, the time, your mobile phone signal and how much battery you have left. Due to the phones limited features, the battery lasts for what seems like an eternity because it no longer has to waste energy on any unnecessary applications.
On the homepage, you will have a choice of two options, one is to click on to the menu where you will encounter another list of potential choices or you can click straight onto your contacts which enables you ring someone easily without having to skip through various other options.

The first category that comes up is entitled messages. The sub-headings are then placed in the most logical order with the most obvious options like Send, Read and Delete at the top of the list and so on.

You also have the option of Virgin (or whatever network you're on) which enables you to top-up your account or use any of the services available from the network you are subscribed to.

You also then have the sounds category where you are able to select the sounds you would like for your ringtone or when you receive a message. You can also give personal ringtones to your contacts which is quite a handy and fun option. The mobile comes with a standard set of sounds, most of which you will of heard before like Valkyrie or that famous Mexican song that when finished usually corresponds with a ''Hey!''. There's a wide selection of monophonic ringtones from a whole host of different genres. There will certainly be something for everyone.

There's also the Extras menu which is basically just a few ''high-tech'' games for you to get addicted to like Connect 4 and Pong. Other basic features include Languages and the always important alarm clock.
A
The phone itself is quite small and compact, measuring less than 10cm long. You won't have to worry about people stealing it because its ''rubbish'' and worth very little so any paranoia that you would have with a £100 phone in your back pocket automatically disappears.
The phone also has very easy navigating system with your usual green and red buttons with a cancel button that basically takes you back to your last position.
