Advantages: Great crisp sound, excellent fit
Disadvantages: Lack of volume control with Xbox 360

Having worked in call centres before I was quite disappointed to learn that Microsoft's official headset for the Xbox 360 was just like the one I was accustomed to, you know the one that pulls half your hair out when you take it off and makes you look like one of the chickens on that car insurance advert, therefore you can imagine my delight when the new Sennheiser PC 120 arrived at my door. The headset ( as you can see from the picture below) goes with the more modern bluetooth style that fits comfortably over and into your ear, you can also switch between your left and right ear depending which way feels more comfortable. When you first see the connections on the end of the headphones you think to yourself, "now where am I going to stick that on my 360's controller" due to the 2 x 3.5mm jacks (I will explain these later) on the end ...

Headset built to last

Advantages: Great sound quality, comfortable ear pads, mute & volume controls
Disadvantages: Ears hurt after long use (very small disadvantage)

Plantronics Voyager 510

Advantages: Lightweight, Easy To Use & Reliable
Disadvantages: None As Yet

This is a very reasonable headset for the £40 paid for it. It can be used on both ears quite easily. This can be done by twisting the over-ear piece to accommodate which ear is preferred. The button configuration on the headset is convenient for both left and right handed people. I went for this headset because I bought a different Plantronics headset about a year ago and I could find no faults with it. So far, I can find no faults with the new 510. I find that the sound quality is extremely good, and it allows you to hear the conversation easily while driving along in the car. Also what I find very convenient is the additional cable that allows you to charge the headset in the car from a cigarette lighter. In the box was also 2 other additional ear pieces, that can be changed for every ear. It is lightweight and easy to carry ...
