I own and have owned many and various ear and headphones over the years and I have a fairly large collection. One of the most recent ones I purchased was the Sennheiser CX 300 II Precision Noise Isolating Ear-canal Phones. These retail at the costly sum of almost forty quid but I managed to track down some on Ebay for just £15. I had read and heard a lot of excellent reports about these phones and decided to splash out a bit and get something better than those cheap store bought ones I usually get and which tend to last me about a fortnight.

The Sennheiser CX 300 II Precision Noise Isolating Ear-canal Phones are an excellent example of what a decent headphone should be. They deliver quality rich sound and at the same time have the remarkable ability to block out and buffer any outside noise and interference, giving the user quality sound with a bass base.

I use them with my mp3 Player, my iphone and my iPod and the connection is wonderful. They are robust yet compact and lightweight and are an excellent fit into my ear. I have had some problems in the past, particularly with cheaper brands of store bought earphones, in that I am unable to get a good fit into my ear, especially my right one for some reason, yet with the Sennheiser CX 300 II Precision Noise Isolating Ear-canal Phones there never seems to be any problem in securing a good fit.

They deliver an excellent sound quality with none of the nasty tinny rattle which is evident with cheaper earphones. The only downside to these is that because they are such a secure and snug fit into my ear, I have had some experience of the rubber buds keep falling off. I have bought replacements as I have lost one or two outside in car parks but the same problem has re-occured. For this reason I just have to make very sure that I remove the earpiece very carefully after each use to ensure the rubber stays put.

All in all a very good product and highly recommended.
