I'd just recently bought a new mp3 player and after shelling out quite a lot of money for it, I didn't want to be let down to poor sound quality of the packaged headphones.
After doing some research online, I decided to get a pair of Sennheiser CX300's. I have to say they are fantastic. They come with 3 sets of earbuds in different sizes, experiment and find out which are most comfortable in your ears. They are very easy to wear- I forget I'm wearing them half the time! And the sound....well the sound is amazing. I can hear tracks on my mp3 player far more clearly and defined. They cancel out a lot of backround noise too- the early morning commutes on a packed bus have never been so peaceful.
All in all I love them. Definately worth the £20 or so price tag. I let my brother borrow them one day and he ended up buying himself a pair he was that impressed. The build quality is also excellent, the cables are very strong and re-inforced.
A word of warning though, there have been reports of fake copies of these headphones being sold on various auction sites and marketplaces. Please buy from a reputable retailer to ensure you get a genuine pair- they are worth the money and let's face it they aren't overly expensive either.
As a side note, these headphones come in three colours- 1. Black leads and black earpieces, 2. Black leads and silver earpieces, 3. White leads and white earpieces.

Advantages: Excellent sound, Great price, Reduced background noise, Great customer service from Sennheiser. Disadvantages: Ear bud size may cause problems, Fakes are sometimes hard to identify.
