After getting fed-up with some other brand-name "pro" headphones, I took the plunge to buy a new set of Sennheiser headphones and chose these.
They are nice and lightweight, with very soft padding on the headband, and for the ear-pads, making these very comfortable to wear.
With regards to sound reproduction, it may be obvious that this brand is top-notch, however, these headphones perform wonderfully with a crisp unmuffled sound.
These headphones boast a higher bass response, and it certainly has! To be honest, this is a slight drawback of these headphones, as you do need to break them in a bit before you use them - otherwise the bass will be very bassey.
It is recommended to run them in for at least a few days of good, and varied, music before you use them - just to get it all working nice. 50 hours of burn-in is about right.
The cable is nice and long - but be careful that it does not wrap around the wheels of your rolling chair... However - the cable can be detached from the ear-pad, which is good for if you do get into a tangle.
I use these both for when I listen to music via hi-fi, iPod and computer - and when composing music. They really do give a nice and solid sound response suitable for almost any situation.
