Sennheiser VMX 100 Headset

Advantages: Incredible sound, comfortable, case included
Disadvantages: Not as compact as earphones, not soundproof

...Sennheiser have a great reputation for making great benchmark headphones, and this reputation is added to with the PX100. Given 5 star and rated as best budget headphones by 'What hi-fi?', I strong urge you to consider buying new headphones. As the portable audio product market has become more price competitive, and the quality of sound has increased I have seen that companies are reducing the cost spent on headphones when they should be increased to utilize the full performance of the unit. I bought these Sennheiser PX100 6 months ago for my Apple ipod, 4th generation and have been delighted with them. The quality of earbuds that come with mp3 players for example, are adequate but you can improve your portable listening immensely with by purchasing this product. Advantages: Cheap with beat counters
Disadvantages: once your good you will want a better mixer

...Behringer keep spoiling us with great quality mixers at the lowest prices compared to any other manufacturer. The VMX100 is an entry level dj mixer. it has 2 channels split for phono or line input. each channel has it own beat counter and full high, mid, low trim.. The beat counters work quite well and along with the tempo and sysc LED displays,any body can learn to mix. there is a best assist button just press this button in time with the beat at the BPM is worked out and the sysc lights will tell you which channel is too fast or too slow. the head phone mixer can play both channels at once or can be addigned to one channel or the other. the cross fader in the VMX100 is excellent useing a glide bar to stop your movements damaging it. the life cycle is estimated at 500,000 slided thats alot. after nearly a year practicising... ...Truly outstanding - there is no bass better than this for any headphones under 100 pounds and there is definitely no better bass in this price range. It uses special patent pending technology to create this awesome experience (bass damping and baffling I believe). The rest of the sound range is of a similarly high caliber, and there is no tinny or muddy noise here. You'll have to break in the headphones (blast some music out of them for a while) before they'll start to sound properly good - well, according to my friend anyway. There is also no distortion, thanks to the neodymium magnets. Comfort This aspect is probably the only one that I think needs improvement - but that's what the PX200's are for. It fits comfortably on your head and the earcups fit reasonably well. They are rather flat so it will not be the best fit... Read review
