My review is about Sensodyne Pronamel Daily Toothpaste/100ml. A product that is specifically formulated for people with sensitive teeth. It contains acid protection formula that will help protect against acid wear. It also has fluoride for cavity protection and provides the benefits of a regular daily toothpaste. The No.1 dentist recommended brand for sensitive teeth. DIRECTION FOR USE Use a pea sized amount for supervised brushing to minimise swallowing. Brush with sensodyne pronamel toothpaste 2-4 x daily. Advantages Advantages Added fluoride, gentle to teeth, leaves feeling of cleanliness

Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive, taste might not suit everyone

This is the first Sensodyne product I have ever bought. Although I heard of this brand before, I always though it was for people with sensitive teeth and, since I don’t suffer from this condition, I never contemplated buying this toothpaste. Recently, however, I was lead to believe (through very convincing advertising and No.1 dentist recommended claim) that I need one – otherwise my teeth will suffer from decay and I will lose my smile forever! I must admit that when it comes to certain products I don’t even think twice before splashing out on an expensive brand, whereas with other products ... more

Advantages Advantages Doesn't contain SLS, got rid of my ulcers

Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive, tastes weird, doesn't leave my mouth feeling fresh

I will admit that I am exceedingly cheap in some circumstances, and that often includes daily essentials of which I am perfectly happy to use value versions and use the extra money towards something I want but don't need. So it was with a heavy heart that I headed to Boots the other week looking for a new toothpaste, after being content with their cheapest own brand for the past few years. The reason I was changing? Mouth ulcers have been ruining my life. Not just a small one every now and again. Not even a big one every now and again. Oh no, I'm taking five whoppers at any one time, located ... more

    Advantages Advantages Reduces sensitivity

Disadvantages Disadvantages Marginally more expensive than standard toothpaste

After suffering with quite mild sensitive teeth for a while and it progressing getting worse, I asked my dentist about it at my next check up. He recommended sensodyne pronamel to me - "the sensodyne advert thats always on TV" were his words! At my next stop in town, I bought the toothpaste for about £3.50, a bit more money than other toothpastes, but worth the risk of paying extra especially if it reduces my teeth sensitivity, or even get rid of it! The toothpaste comes in a small rectangular box, with the tube of toothpaste inside. The name is clearly written on the front of the box, along ... more

Advantages Advantages Stengthens enamel, stops sensitivity

Disadvantages Disadvantages I don't really like the flavour

My tooth enamel has been a problem for a few years now. It has worn away and its not too bad but it is slightly see through and I do worry about my dental health because I have 8 adult teeth and the rest are all still milk teeth - I have no adult teeth waiting to come through! Therefore it is important that I look after these teeth. When I first saw this toothpaste advertised on TV I thought it sounded perfect for me, I already used sensodyne toothpaste as my teeth are very sensitive so I thought this pronamel aspect would be a welcome added bonus. I bought my toothpaste from morrisons but it ... more
