Tumble dryers are one of those household appliances that aren't really required, but after you have felt clothes dried in a dryer compared to those dried naturally most people wouldn't want to be without. Clothes (and specifically towels) come out all soft and fluffy compared to the harsher edge from air dried.
The Servis M2001 tumble dryer is a basic vented machine, meaning the clothes are dried and the moisture is extracted through a vent pipe into the room or to the outside world through a window or venting unit. The machine comes with a rear venting connection at the bottom right and a vent pipe that is just long enough to reach a window set just in front of the machine. There are 2 settings (standard and delicate). Most clothes can be dried using delicate and I have found that the shrinkage that can often arise when using a tumble dryer is reduced using this settings. Jeans and towels however really do need the standard setting. In order to reduce creasing the machine has reversible action. This means that through the drying cycle it will first rotate clockwise and then anti-clockwise.
The only problem I have had is with tablet tumble dryer conditioners. These do not seem to work very well as the filter just catches the tablet before it has dissolved.
