I bought this washer/dryer from Currys 8 months ago. The other evening it stopped dead in its cycle and has not worked since. I have been told by the engineer that it needs a new pump, motor, main module and pcb selector board. I have no other facilities for washing or drying and am thoroughly fed up. I feel let down by Servis bearing in mind the washer/dryer is still under guarantee. I would not recommend this machine - it takes ages to dry even light loads but with no garden I had no choice.
It is, however an easy machine to use - only noisy once it get to the spin cycle, fairly economical and until it went wrong I was reasonably happy except the lengthy drying time.

Hi Thehonesttruth, no one has even mentioned replacing it but they say that the new parts will be guaranteed for only 3 months. I think it is pretty poor service - I now have to wait until they contact me. I was told that due to the factory being closed for the whole of August, the parts may not even be in stock. I am keeping a record of all my telephone calls with Servis and logging everything that is said. Thanks for your reply.
