I saw this on sale in my local Tesco's for £9.99 and as i didn't yet own a set top box i thought i could do with one. after getting it home and opening the box i realized that it didn't come with a scart cable, but luckily i had a couple of spares in the cupboard. The only drawback i can think of is that it updates itself every night so when you wake up in the morning its gone from standby to on. But thats not even that bad so overall i think its excellent. After getting back from the shopping with this new freewiew box, i was delightfull at how easy it was to set up. Very few wires to plug in and once it is on there are very user friendly step by step instructions to help set up and scan for channels. There is also easy access to various help menus from anywhere in the box. Advantages: really easy to use, record two things at once
Disadvantages: setting it up took ages

Our old VCR broke ages ago, and we never bothered replacing it, as we could watch DVDs on the playstation, and there never seemed to be anything on worth watching! However, we decided it was about time we replaced the old VCR, and this seemed the best option. Once we'd managed to get it all tuned in and working, it was great, but getting there was a bit of a hassle. Firstly not all channels would work (in particular ITV channels didn't work). Then ...

Disadvantages: Price, some reliability issues, speed

Sky HD has a plethora of positive features which facilitate a great digital TV service. I find the anytime Tv feature great to check out as it has some great programs and HD movies available to watch at your own pleasure. The quality of HD channels are really excellent, and while there's still a lack of quantitiy, the quality available is great and ever expanding.
