I have had my Daewoo box for 4 or 5 years now, and think its the bee's knees, its so good we have now bought a second! One for the kitchen and one for the lounge! The box cost us a one off £49.50, with no other payments at all. Great Single Tuner PVR for Under 100 Bucks!

Advantages: Intelligent Remote Layout, Fast EPG, Large 80GB HDD
Disadvantages: Single tuner only, Teething Problems

...there were three boxes and daewoo being the only brand i really recognised, and after a recommendation from the sales assistant i went for it. This box has 2 scarts on the rear, rgb output, stereo audio output as well as Coaxial Digital out. Now while the audio out is a very promising idea i dont believe it is that great since it appears to be lacking any sort of bass whatsoever leaving my technics hifi (previously reviewed) looking rather powerless ...

Advantages: Good value, 120 hours recording
Disadvantages: No live replay, slow to start-up, slow to pause, poor program guide format
