...After several replacements of my Rowenta DX 9301 following its intermittent loss of power and not wanting to venture once again into known territory of so much hassle and frequent visits to Angerville when it refused to work I opted to go out and buy another iron - after much deliberating decided on the Philips GC2110 steam iron which was a veritable steal - brand new and boxed for only £15.99 fat Ebay. Better still it came with a 12 month guarantee so I knew that if I experienced the same problems again I could send it back for a replacement or to be fixed.
