Pfaff Fab-U-Motion with Creative 2.0

Advantages: Easy to install; solid construction; smooth and easy to operate.
Disadvantages: heavy. But this also is an indication of how solid it is.

I have an older Pfaff 1475, and I'd been wanting a machine with stitch regulator for a long time. Recently my local Pfaff dealer offered a special sale on a Creative 2.0 that included the Fab-U-Motion attachment. I purchased the Creative 2.0 and brought it home, along with its embroidery unit and the Fab-U-Motion, yesterday afternoon. Motion is smooth and even, and stitching much more even and attractive than I can do "freehand". Janome Memorycraft 11000, Dreams and nightmares

Advantages: Solid, hardwearing, does it all.
Disadvantages: A very heavy machine, a lot of information to get to grips with

I bought this as my old machine finally gave up the ghost & it's probably the best thing I've done in ages. I have problems buying clothes to fit, because I'm rubbish at dieting and therefore making my own is the best option.
