This is similar to the animated tekken movie of jack the robot giant with the small girl he goes around with and protects. Although genre like me never found interest the game when it was released because of the game style and lack of hardcore fighting made the game quite boring during the recent period of release.

One thing about the game is that it is a bit different from other games. The character with horns and spikes all over the body roaming around the castle encountering enemies fighting. In the real sense, this is not my type of game but I got my self-playing playing this game for one reason and that is the character and the small girl he takes about.

I had a spectacular sympathy for the girl he takes about fighting so when I realized that the little girl (mono) was among the mission, I decided to guard her through out the game.

THE GAME.

The game to be frank does not have specific genre or platform rather it has some similarities with role-playing games. It does not have that hardcore fighting features like the prince of Persia and other mission games. Your main mission objective is protecting the girl. A voice tells you about saving the girl and the conditions. If you are to succeed in saving the girl then you are expected to kill the colossi that roam around. There are not much things to kill and that could make the game boring. There are many things that you can do in the game. You can fight some bosses, you can upgrade your characters, and you are doing things possible to save the life of a woman or rather a young girl.

In the beginning of the game, you are enabled to take full view of the world and you also ride along in search of enemies since there are not much enemies in the game.

THE GAME STORY

The game does not have straight story mode but the only story that I can narrate is at the begging of the game, the lifeless body of the girl Is laid in the alter and then gives the condition on how the girl is going to be saved. But there is no direct information like talking to each other rather you are to read through the written sub titles. In the game, you have horse as your source of mobility and companion.

THE GAME CONTROL AND PLAY PATTERN.

The game control is based more on the L and R buttons. You control movements with the analogue join stick and the right analogue takes control of the camera view. You are also enabled to pray, pick up some reptiles and so on. The X button is the action button and it is responsible for many things like calling your horse to you, enables you to grip your sword tight and pick up things. Buttons like the triangle is responsible for jumping while the square button is for attacks. The L1 enables you focus on the colossus then R1 enables you to do so many things like standing on your horse, grabbing on some objects and so on.

You also know your health and energy meter. Your health is a pink bar that you see below the screen. You fill it by eating fruits. It decreases when the colossus hurts you or when you fall down at any time. You also get to know the stamina or energy gauge which is the pink circle. The more you hang on some thing, the smaller the energy gauge become.

THE GAME GRAPHICS.

The game comes with fantastic graphics and every image and animation of the game is all made well. You are enabled to see every thing clearly. The atmosphere is very well done, the trees there are fantastic, the forest and other environment is very well represented with good animations. To be frank, the atmosphere is very realistic.

THE GAME SOUND.

Well since there are not many talks, you tend not to hear voices rather you hear sounds when there is battle or the sound of nature around you. The game sound helps in many ways like in helping to identify things done by changes in music.

THE MISSION.

You are to compete 16 missions on the whole. You are to kill your enemies and expected to work with your X button for tight grip of you sword. You are not left alone in the mission because you are provided with a map that shows you the way in and out. Well licking out the game pattern might make the game exposed to those that intend to play it but let me give one main secret of killing the colossus. To kill your enemies, you are to stab them in their vital point through the light rays.

GAME DURATION.

Although I dint conclude the game in a day, the game is quite short. If you tend to finish the game in one day, it will take an average of 11 hours according to those that have done it. You can equally start the game in hard mode; normal mode and also you can equally play in time attack. I have finished the game but from those that have finished the game four times, you get access to the secret garden.

That is all I have for you about the game. But one thing about the game is that is it not going to be liked by every body. Well the game is some how and I don't think that many people are going to find favour in it
