rich shampoo for rich moisturised locks!
Advantages: very moisturising ideal for post-treatment (colouring/perming/straightened hair) Disadvantages: can be too heavy for those with fine stright hair
I generally find aveda shampoo's and conditioners to be something of a hit and miss..some are either very very good and others leave my hair looking straw like and my scalp itchy... in the case of sap moss I would firmly put this into the former catergory. It was reccomended to me when my hair was at its driest and this certainly softened it up. It comes long tubes and the shampoo has a very unusually thick texture. It is actually thicker in consistancy ... ...this line has discontinued at aveda shops I thik you can still buy the litre bottles from Ebay and other online shops - try a google search and quite a reasonable price too and considering how long a litre worth of shampoo lasts its a good investment - the best thing about aveda its always good value for money when you buy in bulk! ...

Shampure is a perfect natural solution for thick & treated hair
Advantages: All natural, sulfate-free, hair feels great and smells like a spa Disadvantages: product doesn't lather easily which makes you use more than other brand shampoo, pricey
...treatment. I went to Aveda because I love the smell and the Aveda staff recommended Shampure because after the Brasilian treatment your hair is quite normal and the shampoo is quite gentle towards treatments or colour. The shampoo itself is quite hard to lather, so its a little frustrating having to attempt to shampoo your hair twice and you do use a lot more of the product. But it smells great and cleans well, which makes my hair feel fabulous after. ... ...think it weighs down my hair a little, which makes styling easier for me. My sister used it during her visit and hated it because it made her hair loose its volume --her hair is also a lot finer than mine. So overall, its hair-type dependent, but I am very happy with it! ...

Lovely scented, camomile shampoo.
Advantages: The smell is amazing, and the brighter colour result Disadvantages: Perhaps the price.
I first heard of Aveda hairproducts whilst watching QVC (the shopping channel). I always thought that they looked good, as they used natural ingredients and always sold out. However they were quite expensive so I thought maybe I'll get something again....
However whilst in America I was in a shopping mall in L.A (after walking along the walk of fame, and mingling with the stars! Lol.) I saw an Aveda shop which looked really nice, so I went in and ... ...~~~Anything else?~~~
In this range Aveda also do other shampoo's designed for different hair colours:
Blue Malva: Is for Grey or Platinum blond hair.
Camomile:Is for warmer/darker blond shades.
Clove: For brown/honey coloured tones.
Black malva: For black or dark natural or coloured hair.
Matter rood: For red/auburn or Chesnut hair.
~~~Would I recommend it?~~~
Definitely, I think in this country it's about £9, but it is a really good quality ...
Pump Up The Volume (Part I)
Advantages: Does volumise hair, aromatic smell Disadvantages: Smell could get tiresome, SO expensive
...(different scents etc.)
AVEDA PURE ABUNDANCE VOLUMISING SHAMPOO
Naturally, being Aveda, the bottle is kept simple and functional. It's a pale green flip top bottle which stands up easily and is easy to squeeze out (even to the very last drop). And again, being Aveda, the product smells completely earthy and natural. When you use it it's a clear/slightly yellowish gel-like consistency which lathers up quite a bit when using only a normal amount. ... ...of the best things about Aveda products and difficult to ignore in a confined space. The scent is much like that of Clarins' Relax range, which is based on Geranium (a strong planty smell). I like it now and again, which is handy because I only use this shampoo about once a fortnight but I know I'd hate to use it more often than that because apart from being expensive I would easily tire of the scent.
Once lathered it's easy to wash out of your ...
Shampoo that made me see red
Advantages: Long lasting colour preservation and great feeling hair Disadvantages: The price
...entrusted my hair care to Aveda - they cut it for me, they colour it for me and they take care of all my hair care needs at home. Aveda is 30 years old now and have a mission to provide high quality beauty products using the power of plants and botanicals to reduce the reliance on chemicals and the look to source ingredients which ecologically and ethically sound. They believe in responsible packaging (for more details see www.aveda.co.uk) and their ... ...problematic scalp but thanks to Aveda I have that sorted but using another product could wreck all the good work so I was a little bit nervous about using something like this all the time for while. A lot of Aveda products are quite gentle so they don't strip your colour overly quickly anyway and they are quite gentle on the scalp and thankfully I didn't have anything to worry about on that front. I do use my scalp benefits shampoo and conditioner ...
