I can highly recommend Shares magazine for the private investor or amateur daytrader. I find it to be easy to read, the sections are logical and make sense and it is generally jargon free. It tends to be written for the amateur daytrade market but contains all the informatuion that the more serious daytrader will need.

It offers very good value for money on a subscription basis at £79 for 52 weeks (as opposed to a cover price of £2.20) and there is also a website www.sharesmagazine.com which you can access (some of the features are restricted to subscribers only)
