Sharkoon Silent Eagle 1000 Case fan.
A innovative brand that uses the golf ball effect dimples to reduce noise and yet keep air flow at a reasonable rate.

The Silent Eagle is quite a expensive fan, as fans go. At around £5 a fan you do get your moneys worth in terms of quality and silence.

The 2 fans which I brought have drastic reduced the noise my computer now emits. The only sound that I can now hear is my CPU fan whirring around.

Despite the low air flow that these fans give (Less that half a normal fan, not to mention cheaper alternative) they are still very useful. These fans would make a excellent addition to a Multimedia PC or a Media Center PC.

Rubber Bolts supplied with this product further help reduce noise emitions. However they do come with standard screws if you wish to mount them conventionally.

My original PC temperature idled at around 22*C... and never rose above 31*C....

Now by replacing my two standard fans for these Sharkoon Silent fans, my idle temp has to a quite high 34*C.... This rises alarmingly to a dangerous 41*C at stress (Stress consists of Games, Memory Tester programs and any high processor usage programs)

Don't mistake me. 41*C will not directly affect your PC components... however prolonged usage at high temperatures will reduce the longevity of your components. High temps could also need to more crashes and freezes.

The fans work perfectly for what they are designed. They are silent, easy to fit (Simply plug and go). They do move a reasonable amount of air, although in a already hot computer... switching to these fans could cause some damage.

My advice on these fans is if you are wanting to make your computer as silent as possible these are the way to go. However, do take my warning, If you are planning on replacing a / all the fans do watch the temperature of your system.
Also, If you replace one fan, replace them all with these.... the effect these fans give can only really be seen when all the other fans are just as silent.

Also, if your worried about system temps... I useful thought could be to buy the Sharkoon Silent Eagle 1000 120mm fan. By adding this extra fan it should keep temps low. Also, it being a Silent Eagle it will still be silent as a mouse.

My opinion: If you like your Music and Films that you watch on your PC... get these fans... you couldn't imagine the brilliant effect these have on your viewing.
