...The Presario 2100 is a useful laptop. The keyboard is easy to use, although it could, perhaps, do with being a little bit bigger and perhaps it is a bit too springy for my liking. Although I am told that I still type as if I am using my old Imperial Model T Good Companion portable typewriter. And perhaps there is some truth in this! The Presario is easy to operate. Although I feel that it would be better to have four, rather than two USB ports on the machine. Operating a printer, using a USB modem (for ADSL) downloading from a camera and using a USB mouse as I do means constant juggling around of USB devices. Or using extra USB ports. The Presario is not very light so is a little less portable than it might be and does tend to drag on the shoulder if carried for any length of time. There are a wide variety of Presario... ......well i certainly would. After aquiring a x2100 about three years ago and not knowing too much about computers, i didn't realise what a gem i had got. I soon realised though and have never even considered buying another computer. The sheer speed that this computer works at is absolutely phenominal. With it's 512k rambus memory it can handle almost anything. Admitted i have added another 1536k of rambus memory, which by know means was cheap but i can now design my own graphics without running out of memory. This computer is not really for gameplay but it can handle most types of game eg. shoot em up, role play games and driving games. If you know what you are doing with a computer designing games is what it's really meant for.... Read review

...Although now discontinued, this review may be helpful to anyone looking to pick up a quality HP laser printer on Ebay or similar. The HP LaserJet 2100 printer will satisfy anyone who is looking for the very highest in print quality and has an eye for good value ! True 1200 x 1200 dpi provides high quality laser output, at 10 pages per minute, not super fast, but more than enough for what I need. Installation was an absolute doddle, although not USB Plug & Play, being an older printer, Windows XP knows exactly what to do with all necessary drivers included ! It's connected to my network with a mini print server (not reviewed here) on the parallel port via ethernet cable, although you can, of course connect direct to th eparallel port on your PC.
