...Sharp has been from my child hood days the first television we bought in the early 80"s. It served quite long for up to 20 years before it finally got old. Sony, National that is Panasonic in the recent moment and Sharp in the 70"s, 80"s and in the early 90"s was the best in the production of electronics and never had any competitors and it was in the mid and late 90"s that a lot of rivalries came into the category of electronics like the LG electronics, Samsung, akira and the rest of them. After my use of the Sony television I decided to change brand by giving other product a try and I got a Panasonic television, which is another good, and a quality electronic product. I used the Panasonic television for quite a long time and I decided to go back to my previous sharp electronic television product...

Advantages: Looks good and is very useful Disadvantages: The recording problema and it's hunger for batteries
..., and by the end of the week, my high score had won me a MD-Player.
That was 8 weeks ago and now I have just received it, but it’s better late than never, I say. It’s a small personal machine made by SHARP and my op is going to try and explain it as best I can, so here goes…
DESIGN * * * * *
The compact MD-Player certainly lives up to its name as it’s only a small square with sides around 7cm long. In fact despite it’s size it feels quite weighty too. The face has one small rectangular screen, which houses all the information, and the digital screen. Further down there are some small and sometimes fiddly buttons, which I...

Advantages: Powerful, Good design, Nice sound Disadvantages: No tape deck
...of research on the web, which just overloaded me with choices and left me none the wiser as I really needed to see and her the things before I could make a decision, I trotted off to Comet.

Staring at the selection at around the hundred quid mark, my eye was immediately drawn to the Sharp XL-3500H, a compact system in light wood, clear Perspex and silver. It was different than all the others in that it had no cassette player, but was just a radio and CD player. As I don't like tapes anyway, except in my car, and have a facility for taping on my main hi-fi, this wasn't a problem.
The Sharp XL-3500H...

I must admit I'm a bit of a romantic, I've read every one Bernard Cornwell's Sharpe books, and already owned the Sharpe boxset on DVD. So when Sharpe's Challenge was advertised on the TV I was looking forward to watching it. Sadly, due to a family... more

Although this combi-microwave gives very good cooking results and is perfect if cooking for 2 people, it is a very big appliance and its durability is questionable. I bought my first appliance in Dec 2004 and was extremely pleased with it. However,... more
Once my contract had run out on my last mobile phone, I decided to splash out a bit and go by a new phone on pay-as-you-talk. I got a Sharp GX10i. I paid £250 for it. Although, I have since seen it for sale for £219! This phone is exclusive to... more
