Lets start off with the basics. This model has the now standard 2 cassette deck, Radio and CD player. This CD player also happens to be a 5 disc tray affair and is able to play mp3 and wma discs (good news for tech kids). Now that the basics are done with, lets talk about the sound! First off let me point out if you are a person who doesn't love bass, then walk along, because this beast is a bass demon. The speakers come with a sub woofer and its a insane amount of bass it kicks out. On that point, if you are perhaps looking for a nice little evening Hi-Fi for quiet listening you may want to look elsewhere as even with the bass turned off this still seems to penetrate everything. If your fine with the killer bass then this is for you. Its louder than you will ever need in a home environment, and has all the connections we have come to expect (headphones, video L+R to connect your pc/games console/tv/dvd player whatever).
