I originally purchased this phone because of the stylish perception of the phone and the association with David Beckham. However when I fully charged it I realised the phone was much more than a fashion statement; the range of features and ease of use suprised me and it surpassed all expectations. If there are to be a couple of minor criticisms of the phone, they would be, (1) There is an aerial, which for blokes can be a problem when you're on the go and trying to get it out of your pocket, and (2) In my experience with the phone I have found that you are unable to send mms via irda (infrared), however apart from this the phone is great and I would recommend it to any one.

The features are all clearly labelled and easy to access, they consist of:

Messages - texting is easy, as the buttons are big and predictive text is an option and access to previous messages in your inbox is clear. There is also an option of having delivery reports on, so you can tell when the message you have sent has been recieved by the recipient.

Camera - The camera is easy to use and is of quite a high quality but like most phones it doesn't respond to artificial light very well, consequently when you take photos at night they don't come out that well. There is a zoom and timer function also available, to ensure the photos you take come out as well as possible.

My phone - Here you can access your java games, pictures or ringtones and also see how much memory is left on your phone for each of the categories.

Fun and games - The phone comes with four games, three standard games and one java game. Each are quite appealing and provide a great deal of fun. When accessing java games you can play the ones you have or download more; downloading is made simple by the clear instructions displayed on the screen. Also there is the option to make your own ringtone, though it is quite complex to make a good one.

Profiles - This lets you select which ringtone you want to go off if you are being called or recieving a text and at what volume you wish to have it at. Vibrator is also an option. There are five profile options, which you can edit and are ideal for certain situations, they are; normal, meeting, activity, car and silent.

Organiser - This can be useful as it consists of a calculator, a calender, which you can include up to three memos per day. You can access your clock here and use an alarm function. There is also a voice memo, which in all honesty isn't great but ok for short things to remember.

Call Manager - Here you can view your phonebook and add new names/numbers if you wish. There is also call register which shows previous missed and recieved calls aswell as dialled numbers. Also there is a diverts option which allows you to divert the calls you recieve.

Settings - Here you can control the ins and outs of the phone with relative ease due to clear labelling and instructions. There is a security option here which allows only you to use the phone.

Vodafone live - This uses the wap service to access almost anything you wish, ranging from; new, chat, games, find and seek, news, sport, shopping and search. Using this is easy and not too expensive as it's quite quick.

Vodafone - This lets you access the same as vodafone live and more also letting you access the vodafone top up line, direct enquires, voicemail and various information contact numbers.

Other bits of information.
The screen is big, which is useful and everything can be used quickly and efficiently. The phone charges very quickly and there are no major criticisms. Software can be purchased allowing you to transfer images to your PC, as far as i'm aware it works fine, although alternatively you can send it via mms to an internet address very well. This phone is quite lightweight and not that noticeable in your pocket. The price for this phone has dropped since it first came out but is still quite expensive, you usually find with pay as you go that it costs in the region of £150.00, however you may be able to get it cheaper if you shop around.

The phone is great and definately worth considering when buying a new phone.
