Let me start by saying that I do actually love this phone so this is probably going to end up being a pretty one sided.
A great thing about this phone, at least if you're a saddo like me, is that it takes great photos. They're of very high quality, just like the short video clips you can take. The fact that there is a second smaller screen is great for this as it means that you can see if you're in the shot when taking pictures of yourself, with or without others. They're is also a timer option to help with this and a good flash, with multiple colours including a disco option. Told you I was sad... Anyway, these photos can also be added to your contacts list so that when anyone calls you, their photo appears on both the small outer screen and the larger one too.
One slightly annoying problem with these phone versus models like Nokia is that you can't add words to the dictionary when you're sending texts. It is a multimedia phone so you are able to send picture messages both to other phones and email addresses which is quite a good idea. Also, the internet connection through the phone is reasonably high speed, especially when compared to other WAP enabled handsets. This is good if you're wanting to download things, especially more games as you're only given the one called "Bomblink" which is basically a poor man's "Tetris".
You can store over a hundred numbers on the handset as well as the sim card. Along with numbers, you can store addresses, email addresses, secondary phone numbers and personal notes. There is also the option of placing names in groups like family, friends, business, vip and so on. This, along with the option of adding a photo, creates an easy at-a-glance way of looking up the number you're wanting to call.
All in all I would happily reccommend this phone to pretty much anybody. I do think it's probably more suited to those who want gadgets rather than simply a phone. It does its job very well and I've never been less than satisfied with the handset. Obviously, some users may be put off by the fact that it's only available on Vodafone but personally, I like the company as their customer service is excellent. So yes, buy this phone if you want to have fun and not just make calls.
