Having recently had to throw away my CRT monitor after a faithful five years of service, it was time to try getting one of these fancy new TFT monitors that I see all the time now. Fancy estate agents and hotels all seem too eager to show off these monitors even though half havern't a clue about them, just the latest office fashion accessory.

However this said I've become rather pleased with the change from a traditional large monitor. For starters I now have loads of room on the desk to stretch out and its also much lighter allowing me to tuck it under my arm and take it on the go to friends houses.

Getting more technical the contrast, typically bad in TFT monitors is excellent on this particular one, quoted as 700:1 and the refresh rate is plenty fast enough for you gamers out there at 25ms. Also I got mine in the black case which does look very good. All in all an excellent purchase. If you are looking for a 19" TFT monitor in the near future put this on your short list.

Although this is quite short as reviews go you are the first person to have reviewed a monitor who I've read today who has pointed out that this one is good for games. That's the key question for me and for many other people too I imagine!

I think you would benefit from reading up about this monitor. Armed with all the relevant information, you could improve this greatly. Let me know if you do.

An ok op, though it could use more detail...sounds like a great screen though...Chris xxx
