Sharp MD-MT170E MiniDisc recorder

Minidisc has been around for some years now and was originally brought onto the market by Sony who are still trying to popularise it! OK, What's a Minidisc? This is a very easy to use MiniDisc Player/Recorder with all of the normal functions. Its small so easy to carry around but i would reccomend buying a leather case as i chipped mine when i dropped it. It's also worth buying the Sharp Detachable AA Battery case (serial number ADM18BC) to lengthen the battery life and allow you to power it with AA batteries in case you don't have the charger with you. Before I bought it I read some reviews which said that it had a group feature but it doesn't, so if you have a lot of tracks on a minidisc it takes a bit of time to find a specific album/track ... more

I am totaly amazed completly and uttery amazed the LP4 function on the sharp MD player is totaly amazing I have managed to now record all my CD on to a small selection of MD, admitted my CD collection is not vast but is respectable. I am officioly in awe or as my Brazilin flat mate would as "that is delicious" Oh yea they say, "there will be loss of sound quality" but I dont know why. my hearing I have always felt to be excellent cant pick up any change.
