I have just received this as a present from my aunt who has just returned from Tokyo and thought I would let you know how i have got on with it.
The best thing about this camera is its size and weight, it really is lightweight and easily small enough to fit into a overcoat pocket so ideal for filming the kids in the park or your next door neighbour setting fire to your hedge. Of course the small size means that everything is quite small, the screen is 7.5 cm which i find quite small , and the buttons area is also small but quite well designed actually so is not too much of a problem. (unlike my ridiculous phone, see earlier review) That aside there are quite a lot of functions that are pretty impressive, I especially like the 5 different types of screen (Black and White/Sepia/Negative/blue and solarized) which gives endless hours of fun. The camera can also be used to take single shots, unfortunatley the resolution is poretty poor, but then it wasnt designed to take photos. There are two seperate zooms, optical up to 10x and digital up to a massive 300x, and an attachment for headphones to help you add a soundtrack or to make you look an idiot in the park "Who does he think he is? David Attenborough?" So overall is a pretty good camera, that is until you consider the cost, now my aunt got it quite cheaply but I think the going price is around £550, which I think is quite expensive but I know some people will pay that happily, in which case this is a good camera for you.
