Sharp Viewcam VL-NZ50H

I have just received this as a present from my aunt who has just returned from Tokyo and thought I would let you know how i have got on with it.
The best thing about this camera is its size and weight, it really is lightweight and easily small enough to fit into a overcoat pocket so ideal for filming the kids in the park or your next door neighbour setting fire to your hedge. That aside there are quite a lot of functions that are pretty impressive, I especially like the 5 different types of screen (Black and White/Sepia/Negative/blue and solarized) which gives endless hours of fun. Of course the small size means that everything is quite small, the screen is 7.5 cm which i find quite small , and the buttons area is also small but quite well designed actually so is not too much of a problem. (unlike my ridiculous phone, see earlier review)

There are two seperate zooms, optical up to 10x and digital up to a massive 300x, and an attachment for headphones to help you add a soundtrack or to make you look an idiot in the park "Who does he think he is? David Attenborough?"
So overall is a pretty good camera, that is until you consider the cost, now my aunt got it quite cheaply but I think the going price is around £550, which I think is quite expensive but I know some people will pay that happily, in which case this is a good camera for you.
