A sharp system at a micro price

Advantages: Powerful, Good design, Nice sound
Disadvantages: No tape deck

a while to get to the crux of the matter. The Sharp XL-3500H sounds very good indeed for a £99.95 50 watts machine. It can get very loud, and at every volume level (except very low) you can pick out all of the instruments individually. It has a nice deep bass, but this does not come out muffled or shake the floorboards. Instead it underpins the music with a satisfying boom. Other features are a clock, a timer (which means you can use it as an alarm clock, or set it to switch off after a certain time period), an energy-saving standby mode, headphone jack, an optical digital output for MD and CD-R, the ability to play CD-R and CD-RW, and a fully functional remote control. The remote control is, in fact, the only thing that lets this system down. The style doesn't gel with the rest of the machine (it's black and silver), and the buttons ...

HP Pavilion dv6

Advantages: Slick, lightweight design; good performance; built-in webcam;
Disadvantages: Low battery life, glossy display can be reflective

In my eyes, the DV6 is proof that laptops are very affordable. The specs are: AMD Turion 64, dual core processor 2 GB DDR2 memory 15.4â?³ WXGA High-Definition HP BrightView Widescreen Display (1280 x 800) 256MB NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) Go 7200 160GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive LightScribe SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-RW with Double Layer Support 1.3 Megapixel Webcam with mic built into screen Altec Lansing speakers built in 3 USB ports, ExpressCard/54 Slot, Video Out, Windows Vista Home Premium these are the specs that the laptop my friend has. One of the things that sold me on this laptop was the screen. The screen is excellent. It is bright and clear, and provides a respectable 1280×800 resolution in a widescreen format. there are other notebooks with higher resolution. but It really comes down to preference. For me, I ...

Review of HP Pavilion dv6

The Sharp XL-1 Thousand!!!

Advantages: Great Sound and Easy to Use
Disadvantages: Heavy and Big unit

I recently bought the Sharp XL-1000 of off Ebay and am really impressed with it! The sound quality is fantastic and the speakers pump out the sound loud and with almost No distortion. The Hi-fi even looks fantastic, wiht the sleek look and silver finish. The see through speakers look good with the sound coming out crisp and clean even at a loud volume. This particular model has a remote, according to the manual, but as I bought it off Ebay it never came with one. But this doesn't stop it from performing well, there are play, skip, function, volume and preset radio buttons located on the front, next to the display that has adjusted brightness (with remote). The speakers on this model are 10 watts RMS. 1 bit D-A Converter. The only problem is that it is quite bulky and heavy. ...
