Advantages: It makes you laugh at the cheapness of the ad Disadvantages: Apart from being cheap and tacky its only for women sexist or what?

Firstly,we have the most annoying song I think anyone has been stupid enough to write. The singers (or should I say wannabe singers)seaming murder the song no matter which version of the ad you listen to,or have the misfortune of being continually subjected to. ...say,the maker of the advert are making sure you dont forget their product, because after just one viewing it seams to be mentally tattooed on your brain in horror.
Okay then, lets tackly the advert where you see an Australian gent called Butch Maguire on stage about to start his performance.
His song begins:~
" Fella`s don`t you long to be a woman,
Don`t you sometime wish you wore high heels,

Now I know you must have seen the tacky and tasteless adverts for Sheila`s Wheel car insurance. I am so glad they have given us a chance to give our opinion on it.
Firstly,we have the most annoying song I think anyone has been stupid enough to write. The singers (or should I say wannabe singers)seaming murder the song no matter which version of the ad you listen to,or have the misfortune of being continually subjected to.
I suppose in one way you could say,the maker of the advert are making sure you dont forget their product, because after just one viewing it seams to be mentally tattooed on your brain in horror.
Okay then, lets tackly the advert where you see an Australian gent called Butch Maguire on stage about to start his performance.
His song begins:~ " Fella`s don`t you long to be a woman, Don`t you sometime wish you wore high heels, cause if you had a name like Florance, and you needed car insurance, you`d get a bonza deal from sheila`s wheels."
I think we all know the rest and thats enough of that. Apart from the totally sexist nature of the advert,we are then subjected to the three wailing women joining him on stage, killing the already dead song, but as if that was not enough punishment,we then get the gent stripping off his outfit to reveal himself in a matching dress and high heels and screaching in a high pitched voice to subject us to even more agony.
He must have been extemely desperate for cash to have done this advert, because it certainly won`t have done his career any favours.
Then we have the second advert.
Yet again we get to to meet the three wailing women, except this time they are in a pink car.this time we get to see the ladies driving along the highway and killing us with the song, This however has a few problems, most of the time none of the three ladies are actually driving as they are waving there hands in the air as the sing(Hardly promoting Safe Drivers)and this is very important:~ One minute they are supposed to be driving down the highway, but if you watch the road scene being played in the background suddenly they are driving backwards, then forwards again, then backwards,Um I know confusing or what.Three women who probably cannot drive let alone sing, and have no idea how stupid they look because of the cheap b udget used on the advert.
Oh yes there`s more, the next version is very similar to the one above exect this time a dog has joined them in the car,and now the dog is driving for them!!!!!! FRIGHTENING or what?
The Last of the four they have produced so far is the one where we see two aussie`s in a fly infested empty pub, stood at the bar. One asks the other "mate have you ever wished you were a woman?" His mate replies "Why would I wanna be a woman?" First man says "Well you could get a bonza deal on your car insurance from Sheila`s Wheels!" His mate says"whats Sheila`s Wheels?" The first man then says "look heres the advert and they turn to tv and surprise surprise what should come on the telly but the stigien witches as I like to call them kill us with there singing and driving skills.
The men finally say "See what you mean mate, wouldn`t have to put up any shelves either!"
I mean come on how sad and sexist is that.
In my opinion Sheila`s wheels are in no way promoting safer drivers are women, which is not true anyway, but that woman cannot put up shelves ,and should only dress in stupid outfits and high heels ,and from the women they use it the ads it makes me feel they are saying we are all dumb!
It is hard to believe that sheila`s wheels is actually part of the Esure group.
I think they should burn the film used to make these ads and start using there brains for a new idea.
Advantages: Prices are good until you need something else Disadvantages: Staff are useless and totally without product knowledge
...Well........... I had Sheila's Wheels for 21 months - everything was OK - it was a good price and easily taken on and renewed at a good price with added extras.
BUT and it is a GREAT BIG BUT!!!!...........I decided to change my car, found the one I wanted but, because I beat the new car seller down on price, they would not take the old one, so I had to sell it privately. Therefore, I needed to keep the old one insured....
SO, being the optimistic ... ...put his premium and his Sheila's Wheeels Insurance and immediately cancelled the insurance for the old car with them. He was also very taken aback and I really think that he just did not know what to make of the situation. He stuttered and ummed and ahhed but I was adamant. and immediately looked for other insurance which I found through Confused.com.
I ended up with the Post Office, who couldn't have been more helpful and dealt with what I wanted ...

Advantages: The most competitive rates Disadvantages: None I can think of
I first signed up online after a moneysupermarket.com search showed them as the best provider for me and my three year old car. They have supplied the most competitive price for me for three years now on my sports coupe (Group 18) when other insurers want around another £200 pa with a £600 excess. Each renewal date I've had another look around but there's no one to compare. This year, with a much reduced mileage, the inital quoted premium was cut ... ...I have a fully comp policy with full no claims bonus and protected no claims. I made one claim about 18 months ago (argument with a car park) and everything was handled in two phone calls - one to take the details and another made to me to fix the date to take the car to their preferred repairer. I had a courtesy car for the full time it took to repair.
Who cares about the ad (which I love) when they do great insurance deals? And since it's been ...

wedding!), vote in the daily poll and catch up on what you've missed.
The only real downside to the programme is that it is on ITV1, so there are the ad breaks to endure. Even worse, the programme is sponsored by Sheila's Wheels, so you get to see those annoying adverts involving three women in pink sat in their car. Grrrrr! They even feature on the website too? ...
