Now I know you must have seen the tacky and tasteless adverts for Sheila`s Wheel car insurance.
I am so glad they have given us a chance to give our opinion on it.

Firstly,we have the most annoying song I think anyone has been stupid enough to write. The singers (or should I say wannabe singers)seaming murder the song no matter which version of the ad you listen to,or have the misfortune of being continually subjected to.

I suppose in one way you could say,the maker of the advert are making sure you dont forget their product, because after just one viewing it seams to be mentally tattooed on your brain in horror.

Okay then, lets tackly the advert where you see an Australian gent called Butch Maguire on stage about to start his performance.

His song begins:~
" Fella`s don`t you long to be a woman,
Don`t you sometime wish you wore high heels,
cause if you had a name like Florance,
and you needed car insurance,
you`d get a bonza deal from sheila`s wheels."

I think we all know the rest and thats enough of that.
Apart from the totally sexist nature of the advert,we are then subjected to the three wailing women joining him on stage, killing the already dead song, but as if that was not enough punishment,we then get the gent stripping off his outfit to reveal himself in a matching dress and high heels and screaching in a high pitched voice to subject us to even more agony.

He must have been extemely desperate for cash to have done this advert, because it certainly won`t have done his career any favours.

Then we have the second advert.

Yet again we get to to meet the three wailing women, except this time they are in a pink car.this time we get to see the ladies driving along the highway and killing us with the song,
This however has a few problems, most of the time none of the three ladies are actually driving as they are waving there hands in the air as the sing(Hardly promoting Safe Drivers)and this is very important:~
One minute they are supposed to be driving down the highway, but if you watch the road scene being played in the background suddenly they are driving backwards, then forwards again, then backwards,Um I know confusing or what.Three women who probably cannot drive let alone sing, and have no idea how stupid they look because of the cheap b udget used on the advert.

Oh yes there`s more, the next version is very similar to the one above exect this time a dog has joined them in the car,and now the dog is driving for them!!!!!! FRIGHTENING or what?

The Last of the four they have produced so far is the one where we see two aussie`s in a fly infested empty pub, stood at the bar.
One asks the other "mate have you ever wished you were a woman?"
His mate replies "Why would I wanna be a woman?"
First man says "Well you could get a bonza deal on your car insurance from Sheila`s Wheels!"
His mate says"whats Sheila`s Wheels?"
The first man then says "look heres the advert and they turn to tv and surprise surprise what should come on the telly but the stigien witches as I like to call them kill us with there singing and driving skills.

The men finally say "See what you mean mate, wouldn`t have to put up any shelves either!"

I mean come on how sad and sexist is that.

In my opinion Sheila`s wheels are in no way promoting safer drivers are women, which is not true anyway, but that woman cannot put up shelves ,and should only dress in stupid outfits and high heels ,and from the women they use it the ads it makes me feel they are saying we are all dumb!

It is hard to believe that sheila`s wheels is actually part of the Esure group.

I think they should burn the film used to make these ads and start using there brains for a new idea.

Sheilas Wheels is marketed for women (obviously!), but they do insure men. They are not able to discriminate. As for the ads...I don't mind them - they're a little bit of tongue in cheek fun! They are obviously doing the trick as whether you like them or not we're all talking about them! You seem to know the full script of every advert! I think you've got an obsession! - Only kiddin'!

Very cutting review. However, I feel that you do miss the point in that it is rather tongue in cheek. Not that this detyracts from a this being a well written review.
