Advantages: Beautiful AND practical! Disadvantages: Changes in range since first introduced
...had our first disappointment, as IKEA had significantly changed the appearance of the units. Gone were the beautifully-crafted cupboards that had first attracted us to the range, to be replaced by something altogether more functional, chunky and obviously mass-produced. Instead of sitting on a shelf, the new cupboard was supplied with brackets which slotted into the holes on the frame. Gone also was the all-wood construction: now the drawer runners ......a photo! Summary: IKEA have altered the range on a number of occasions over the years - good additions include doors which fit directly to the uprights, plus side panels which effectively transform the shelves into a cupboard (iwithout a back - seems a little odd?). Side units and shelves are available in black as well as the original pine. I still feel disappointed by the chunkiness of the current range, as it isn't nearly as nice as the 'old' ... Read review

...until I seen this in ASDA and decided to buy it. At £27 give or take a few pence I grabbed it and thought I'd take a chance and I'm glad I did. The PC desk has top shelf for monitor, middle shelf for keyboard, lower middle shelf for printer/scanner etc and a base shelf for whatever you want. Where does the PC unit go your thinking ! The desk has a side metal shelf that can be fitted either site for the desk that a tower case can fit. But I have ......matter the base unit will fit on the bottom shelf and you can do away with the metal side shelf or use it as magazine/paper storage. The desk itself has 4 wheels and the 2 front are locking, the side shelf has a wheel on it too (even though shelf is screwed in place) . The desk is finished in Beech effect and the legs are like Z shaped and nice metallic grey. The desk is quite sturdy as it also has a metal support/cable tidy at the back that bolts ... Read review

...be bought from your local Ikea store, leksvik is a range of furniture, comprising of dining tables, book shelves, wall units, TV units, coffee tables, chairs, buffets, wardrobes, the list goes on, well that was it when we saw this gorgeous colour of wood we loved it, so we had all the dining room furniture that could we could fit, and it looks fantastic. Anyway back to Leksvik, the furniture itself is very strong, and made of solid wood, it will ......things home, we thought "oh no, this is going to take us hours", as it all comes in boxes, and flat pack, so if your not into building things yourself, then this is not for you, so on opening the gate leg table that we bought, and looked at the pieces, they went together straight away, no problems at all, all the holes that were pre drilled were matching up, so in the end it took about 30 mins to put together the gate leg half and the half round ... ...most practical. I bought a pack of 6 Pack of 6, 32 Litre Stack 'n' Nest Boxes. This pack costs £7.99 that's a fair price for 6 boxes to store the grand children's toys in. These boxes are made out of plastic 3 red and 3 blue boxes in the set, that's good Adrian has the red ones Cassie the blue. Now I did not really want plastic boxes ….. . I would have liked grass cane or rush. The plastic ones are more practical cheaper than cane grass or rush. ......There are no rough edges. They are easy to clean and will take a bit more rough treatment than rush. Plastic should last a longer time than the rush or sea grass boxes. The size of each of these multi purpose boxes is (H) 24.2, (W) 34, (D) 47cm. quite a few toys will fit into a box so that when the grandchildren go home my floor is clear of children's. These boxers look quite neat, bright colors, not as terrible as I thought. These boxes are not ... Read review
