At first, I must say I wasn't particularly impressed. With only 65 watts of power per channel and no 6.1 or 7.1 support, I was sceptical to say the least. Anyway, as I was on a strict budget and the RD6103 did seem a good buy, I went to a local Hi-Fi dealer to try one out.
I was not expecting what I saw! In the flesh, the unit looked clean and professional, with nice touches ... ...on the front of the unit.
It supports video switching, allowing a single connection to a TV with automatic selection of audio/video inputs.
The sound quality from this amp is spectacular, giving a full body to both music and DVD playback. I use the Monitor Audio Bronze B1 bookshelf speakers with this amp (See my other reviews for these!), and they really go well together!

The FM radio supports RDS, giving you the station name, the time and a brief description of the station's content. Reception is crisp and clear, even with a small aerial.
Overall, I reccommend the RD6103. Anyone looking for a cheap, decent amplifier should deifintely consider the RD6103.
