Advantages: Value for money, build quality, features Disadvantages: Difficult to bi-wire
I cannot think of another Audio/Video Receiver that offers anything like the value of the SherwoodRVD6095RDS. If you are just starting out in the world of home cinema, or if you are on a budget and looking to replace an ageing amp, then Sherwood are a brand you should consider.
Richer Sounds are tied up with Sherwood to such an extent that you will find it difficult to obtain Sherwood products from any other UK supplier. That is not to say they are an ‘Own Brand’ product, far from it. Sherwood have been in this game for some time and sell products across America, Canada and Australia. They are known to build good quality items with features not otherwise found in the budget arena. All inputs are controlled by a dial on the front or the Remote-Control. A digital audio input (copper) is also featured for easy DVD hookup.
The Amp is pretty powerful as you might expect ...

I was not expecting what I saw! In the flesh, the unit looked clean and professional, with nice touches such as rounded edges and handy connectors for Audio/Video inputs on the front of the unit.
It supports video switching, allowing a single connection to a TV with automatic selection of audio/video inputs.
The sound quality from this amp is spectacular, giving ...
