When the product arrived I was very pleased with the look of it. The new design of the packaging is a square (about 3 inches). It is black with the word AVON on the front. It feels nice and solid. I was really excited to try the new colours but then I hit a problem. I could not work out how to open it! I worked out that I had to press in the button at the bottom but I just couldn't get it to open. Like any good parent I called for assistance from my daughter who immediately opened it. It was certainly very stiff to open at first and my longer nails caused me the problem. Now it is perfectly easy to open and I don't know if that is because I have the "knack" or if it is just easier now! However the secure closure does mean that it never falls open in my make-up bag which is great.

A few months ago i decided i wanted some pink and brown eyeshadows that i could carry in my makeup bag every day as i have quite a few bigger bulky sets that don't fit in my bag. I ended up picking this quad as i really like the brand and the colours look really nice.
There are eight different quads available. They are as follows:
1.sand
2.amber honey
3.smokey pink
4.berry quarz. 1-4 is mainly different brown shades
5.spiced beach
6.truffle
7.artic night-blues and purples
8.blue night-blue shades mainly

The packaging of this eyeshadow is a little plastic tub with a transparent overlay on the top which flips up. It comes in a very shallow pot, containing 0.12 ounces, but don't let the amount put you off as only a tiny bit is needed so this pot will last you for months.
The size of the pot makes it very portable, so it will fit into your jeans, tiny bag - just about anywhere!
However, it needs to be portable as it only lasts for several hours before it needs to be touched up, even if you do use a primer/base (which i would definately recommend with this).
It doesn't come with a brush or applicator, but its easily applied using your fingers, although i found it tended to last abit longer when applied with a brush.
